We purchased an upgraded church sound system with (2) Shure GLX-D+ Dual Band Pro Digital Wireless Rack Mount Microphone System, and I am thrilled with its performance! Look good, great material, sound is very good. This mic is only about $100 more than the older version, but the sound is so much better and the signal box is metal instead of plastic.

We have used this system at our church for the last 5 years. Sound quality is awesome and range is great indoors and outdoors! We just bought 6 more for the praise team operation. I love the rechargeable battery it comes with!

Love how clear and loud voice is projected through this. Not heavy either. The rechargeable battery is awesome... lasts forever. No more worries about battery dying since the number of hours remaining is displayed on the transmitter. You know when to recharge. Overall, very happy with this product. Pricey but worth it.

I love this mic

I was nervous about this mic after reading the reviews saying it had limited range and lots of drop out. I haven't found this to be the case so far. We have used it for practice for a couple of months, and recently it had it's first gig in a fairly large bar with around 200 people in it. It worked great! Of course everyone there had a cell phone, but we experienced no drop out, and the range was excellent. The singer started at the back of the bar for one song, at least a 100 feet away, no problems. I did adjust the preset gain, it was at 20, dropped it to ten as it was running too hot for the board. The receiver is flimsy, you will want to be careful with it, the antenna seem to be delicately attached. The battery life is astounding, each time we have charged it, it read at 18 hours life. I got the beta 58 capsule, I think that is well worth the money. Sound quality was very good, we run a wired beta 58 as well, and the sound from the wireless was just as good as the wired mic. The mic itself is plastic, bigger than a regular sm style, but a lot smaller than older shure wireless mics. Seems pretty simple and robust, but again, don't be throwing it around or treating it like a metal bodied mic. I think this is a very good fit as an entry level quality wireless mic for a rock and roll bar band. Edited to suggest those of you experiencing drop out, simply re-scan for the best frequency. I had some drop out at one jam session, re-scanned for best frequency and was good to go. Took 30 seconds.

Too early to judge ... but on my 1st Stage performance it made a difference ... Hope it continues to do the same ... Happy

Simplemente amo cantar con este micro, no hay un modelo de shure que me guste más hasta ahora, ya tenía el alámbrico y me fascinaba, ahora este inalámbrico me tiene enamorado, hasta siento que se oye con más cuerpo que el de cable, todo súper!!!
