Good to upgrade the RAM in a HP Proliant MicroServer.
I brought these memory sticks to upgrade the RAM in my HP Proliant MicroServer and it works great. My system is older and according to the specs can only use up to 8GB of RAM however I read somewhere that some people got it to run with 16GB of RAM but it was only with certain brand memory so I wasn't sure if the system would be able to run with this brand but it does. The price was pretty good too. So for a small price my server is now running much quicker.

Great memory for an old machine rebuild.
Exactly as advertised. Installed in a VERY old machine and instantly noted an increase in speed. The memory was recognized by Windows 10 and gave no problems. As a part of a three step rebuild, it worked well with the new CPU and printer card. Easy enough to remove the old memory and put in the new. Since it was the fastest ram I could install and much fast than what was in the machine, I was a bit worried about incompatibility, but no such issues arose.

Did not work in my PC (Update)
I installed this RAM in my PC but the PC would not even start up. After removing and installing the original RAM, it started just fine. The photo show the original (2 pieces) at the top and the new (4 pieces) at the bottom. I'm hoping this review will prompt a fix from the vendor. If so I will happily upgrade my rating. Update: I received communication from the seller and it appears they are trying to fix the problem so I bumped up to 3 stars. I'll update again if all goes well. Update #2 (12/15): The seller sent me four new sticks of the RAM and a pre-paid return packaging to return the original order. I installed the RAM this morning and it works like I expected. Upgraded my review to 4 stars. Would have been 5 stars if the original RAM worked but I will say the seller was great in correcting the problem. I would definitely buy from them again.

Works fine!
I wanted to increase the speed of an old, slow desktop computer that runs a Z68 chip-based motherboard. I will not be using it for anything internet-related when Windows 10 sunsets, but willl keep it around for some offline work. I replaced the 2 existing DDR3 4GB modules with these 8GB modules and have not noticed any memory related issues. I really did not get much of a speed boost by doing this. Again, no problems with the memory modules, but it appeared that memory wasn't the main bottleneck. The speed boost came by cloning the old system SATA HDD over to a SATA SSD. These days I think 16GB of memory, especially at this price, is a good baseline even for a decade old pc. But if you're still running a system HDD, I would consider cloning it over to a solid state drive if possible.

Memory fix
A long time ago, far away you didn't buy enough memory for today. Nice upgrade. Help with the speed?. Make sure the BIOS will support the memory

Gives life to older hardware
I had a neighbor who was throwing out an old computer an eMachines EL 1352g-01w . They had had it for the past 8 years and even left a review on Internet forums about how it was the worst computer ever. I asked them if I could have it as I like to do tinker projects and could make use of it. They agreed to give it to me as it was "broken" anyway and to do whatever I wanted to it. It was actually very easy to repair only requiring replacing the CMOS battery and replace the broken HDD with an SSD & doing a fresh install of a new OS. After that I wanted to see if I could make it any snappier and the service and repair manual said this was the highest RAM that the desktop would accept. After replacing the original 2GB RAM Module with this 2 x 2 GB module. It was a simple plug and play replacement. The system ran great without any trouble or issues.

Growing up space RAM memory on ASUS M5A7BL-M LX motherboard.
I have an old desktop computer around 2011 at my house. It has an ASUS M5A7BL-M LX motherboard, with Seagate HDD 1 TB and 4GB DDR3 SODIMM RAM memory ocupping only 1 of 2 slots memories. Desktop computer runs on Windows 10 on 64 bits but as you know it, the laptop was too slowly over the last years, specially with performance troubles on HDD surrounding more than 90% with this tech specs. So, the idea was simple: purchase SSD 256 GB and at least another 4 GB RAM to complete the fully 8 GB RAM Memory slots ('cause you can't grow up above 8 GB RAM on this motherboard model), to clone from HDD disk to SSD disk and enhance the RAM memory too by gowing up. So, it was not the first time I purchased Patriot SSD and A-Tech RAM memories. It was an excelent purchased I could tell you after desktop computer became now in a fastest desktop computer. Now, I could work with any opened tabs and you don't appreciate the flickers when you go to another tab. And the surfing Internet is better than another time ago 'cause you don't worry about if the site is fetching it because it responses inmediately. So yes, I will recommend you this brand of RAM memory. Good price and high performance on the market. Adding, the delivery was fast so I will encourage you to purchase this great 5 stars A-Tech product to grow up the performance of your desktop computer.
