I was glad to be able to buy these replacement filters for the French press that I have been using for many years and I love. But I feel like these are not as sturdy as the original ones that come with the French press. So I have to change them more often than I did originally. But I could just not be remembering well, and they still work and get the job done. A French press really makes a great cup of coffee.

It is always a good thing when replacement parts are readily available, made with quality and care, and fit as intended. These screens do all of the above. Replacing regularly makes for better coffee. Highly recommend for the Secura French press, which isn't likely to break and is insulated. PS you can deep clean the two parts that hold the screen in a basket in your dishwasher before replacing with new ones, but I do not recommend cleaning the screens that way.

I ordered these because the coffee grounds were getting into my cup after pouring. Replacing the old one screen seemed to help.
