Great Tool to speed up Fiber Prep
This tool cuts fiber prep time drastically. I have been using this for the last week prepping AFL Pigtails. This perfectly preps the fiber through the Armour. While it is hard to pull and typically takes a second person to have a good strong grip on the fiber I have yet to strip it and affect the buffer tubes. Would recommend.

Works great. Much better than the Miller Msat-5
I bought this to replace the Miller msat-5, which I could never get to work that well and cost me countless time over the 3-4 months I used it. This tool has probably saved me close to an hour a day over the Miller. I haven’t seen it cut into the fiber yet and does a very clean job of midspanning the buffer tube. I’ll be ordering one of these for all our personnel going forward.

Older cables seem to be fine, but newer cables have razor marks. There is no problem with the optical core. A bit insecure to use.

If you are using this product to strip cable be warned that it will cut into the insulation of the conductors inside the cable.
