Rope Seal - Ceramic Fiber Rope Gasket, Square Braided 1/2" x 25 feet, High Temperature Gasket Seal for Boiler Furnace Oven Kiln Casting

It was a little stiff to turn the corners on the kiln I was using it for. However, it di work as needed.

I was using a 1" rope seal on my wood burning furnace. It kept failing so I tried this. It was stiff in the corners but that is to be expected. The problem is this is so hard now I can't get the door to close enough. Thought it would break in a little but it is not. I can barley get the door closed using a C-Clamp. Going to have to try the 3/4".
