It's a very tight fit in the hot shoe but there's a groove to assist when removing. Don't panic and use something non scratch, I used a chopstick. Having said that it's not on and off all the time. The thumb grip is broad and comfortable, falling exactly in the natural required position. The drive button and wheel are accessible. The length is good, there are shorter and (very cheap) longer ones available that are not as good in my opinion. This is just right, highly recommended.

For some time I had been looking for a way to prevent my hand from pressing the 'Q' button on my camera. This not only does this but gives it more stability. It is well made and fits perfectly and securely in the camera hotshoe

Looks great, colour match not bad but doesn’t sit right into the hot shoe mount. Fuji would greatly benefit doing their own version. If they did I’d likely ditch this and get Fuji’s own.

Nicely built but I find the thumb rest a little on the short side for me. My thumb position feels a little unnatural. Each to their own I guess.

Fits perfectly, it wouldn't ever fall out by itself but it's not too tight that it's a pain to remove. Makes the tiny X100 body feel way more secure in your hand. Colour & finish of the black version matches body extremely well Expensive for a single piece of aluminium but worth it

Bought a second hand silver Fuji x100. This fits perfectly on it with a nice tight fit into the hotshoe, and is the same colour as the camera body. It doesn't obscure any controls on the camera and is a welcome addition to the ergonomics. Can't imagine why you'd want anything else. For the price, it's worth every penny. Recommended.

This thumb grip is the perfect size for the Fujifilm X100F, it also does not get in the way of the rear dial which my previous thumb grip did.

Superb attachment to the Fujifilm X100f, offering a far more secure feel to the camera. One other reviewer mentioned that it was so tight a fit into the hot shoe that it was difficult to remove, I found quite the opposite as it easily slides in and out, in fact a little to easy, I chose the silver type. The shutter and ISO dial adjustment isn't as easy to access when the thumb rest is attached but this really isn't a problem. The hinged type by Lensmate would have been ideal but at more than double the price and the fact it has to be shipped from the USA makes this a 'no brainer' as they say.
