Dual-Sided Espresso Tamper, Heavyweight Aluminum, 4-Ounce, Dual 48-Millimeter and 53-Millimeter Ends for Espresso Machines

I bought a low-end espresso machine at a deep discount, and it came with a plastic spoon/tamper that I used for 3 months, reluctant to spend a lot of money (as I know making good espresso at home can get very expensive very quickly.) This is an excellent solution to my plastic problem. The smaller end of the tamper fits perfectly, and the size and weight just feel good when pressing down. I have medium-sized girl hands, and I like the how easy it is to apply pressure with my palm on the flat surface versus rounded knobs on other tampers. I was exceptionally pleased with this purchase, especially for the price.

It fits perfectly. It’s not a cheap product. There is no sharp places on it nowhere. I have arthritis and I can grip it better than the one that came with my mocha machine. It’s easy to clean I just whip it off with a paper towel.

This tamper was solid, heavy and perfect for my needs. Taking those measurements to insure I received the right one, really helped. Completely satisfied and use it everyday.

It’s metal. It’s correctly shaped for the task it is designed for. It’s silver. It serves a single purpose. I suppose it could act as a paperweight, so long as you aren’t in a particularly bad weather situation. Or a wind tunnel. Could you use it to crack walnuts? Sure. But a rock would work just as well. Why would you buy this for walnut cracking anyway? They already have something for that. It’s called a nut cracker. Do not eat this product. That’s not what it is for. This product is not designed to be substituted for a regulation sized basketball according to the official NBA website. It is non-flammable, free range, gluten free and non-GMO. If swelling occurs, please stop using immediately and consult your physician.

Great product, not too heavy, easy to wipe clean. It does have a finish over it that is ruined by the dishwasher though. Ran it through and it came out a dark metal that left smears on things. That being said, I bought the same product to replace it because it otherwise met my needs.

Such a simple item, yet I couldn't start my day without. Has worked like a charm as an integral part of my morning routine. Glad that I saw it and got it!
