Short shelf life.
Product tastes good, it is mild. I was disappointed to find that the entire flat has a short shelf life, they are best by only 2 months from the date I purchased. Typically canned goods you buy have at least a year on them. They will still be “fine” to eat past that date but when I buy canned goods I don’t expect them to have such a short life especially when buying a large quantity. Some of the cans are also dented which can potentially compromise the can and product.

Really like this brand
Love this! May be my new favorite over Old El Paso, although I just got the "hot" version of Old El Paso which I haven't had a chance to try yet. In the meantime, I can highly recommend LaVictoria. I make enchiladas every week!

great deal
These are much cheaper than the supermarket near me and they taste pretty much the exact same, so highly recommend

Best authentic chili based enchilada sauce
I have been making Mexican style chili since the Earl 1970s. Back then, most enchilada sauces were made from chilies and not tomatoes. Many have changed to a tomato paste base, which is horrible to my palate. I recently went searching for a better enchilada sauce than OEP (now tomato based) and this is very good, and very rich, like a good mole. I am very happy to use this in our chili recipe, especially since it has no tomatoes. Tomatoes are fine for a Wisconsin-style chili, but not authentic Mexican-style, which should have chili powders, cumin, Mexican Oregano, and garlic as the sauce.
