This filament prints great after drying (6-8 hrs at PLA temps) on an AMS with a Bambu P1S. Overall color looks more like a gun metal than a black but looks and prints great.

It does make for a nice print. I had to turn my heat up quite a bit, and I found my nozzle was clogging during long prints, it is a new nozzle. I haven't tried to increase the nozzle heat some more yet though, I will the next time I make a print. I won't tell you my temperatures since every machine is different, but I would say start about 10 degrees higher than regular PLA. The material itself seems to be stiffer than PLA+ that I've been using, a little more brittle, and the filament will kink if you bend it. I was able to reproduce the look that is advertised in the picture.

The filament looks great! However adhesion and warping seem to be a small issue, but this is great for beginners, and Silk PLA calibration.

This PLA will clog the nozzle when the temps drop, so the only negative I can say is pull it out, snip the end and your off... It looks gorgeous, and I can print for days and have with this PLA. It likes 200-210c on the nozzle, and 65 on the bed. I've never needed to preheat or dry this PLA, works beautifully.

Outstanding filament, great adhesion and flow, beautiful color and worry free printing, I love it! Worry free printing at regular PLA settings with zero jams, in fine tuning you may need to make some adjustments to retraction, but should print without problems even without fine tuning. Disregard the way the filament acts when loading the extruded, as it will expand out to about the original size after extrusion. It’s this feature that gives you such smooth and shiny prints, as layer lines are much less noticeable. I highly recommend this and all other CC3D silk filaments.

I have tried this filament on several projects, but they all have the same results. The printer is set correctly for the filament and I have had success printing the same projects in other colors/brands. The filament is brittle and my prints will shatter easily on a hard floor. It also has missing areas in my prints. The color is exactly as pictured.

I absolutely love this filament, it is my favourite, I get great quality prints with it and it looks so much better than just black, I have made brackets, project boxes, toys, all sorts with it. When it is out of stock I am like a cat on a hot tin roof waiting for it to come back in stock. Not sure what I would do if it never returned,
