Melissa & Doug Created by Me! Wooden Princess Wand, Arts & Crafts Kit with Paint, Glitter Stickers, Ribbons & More, Princess Toys for Kids 4+

We’ve had many Melissa and Doug brand toys over the years, and have always found them to be age appropriate, child friendly,fun, and well made. I purchased two of these kits for my nieces to make when they came over. They were so excited to see the kits, and enjoyed working on them. The finished products are adorable. Wish I’d taken a photo before they took them home. The craft does require some adult help, as the wand itself must be glued together. It can then be decorated with the included paints, jewels, ribbons and glitter glue. The finished wands are about 10”. Each of the girls were so proud of their magic wands. Highly recommended.

I got this for my 3 year old for Christmas. She had a great time decorating it herself. She loves crafts. Its sturdy and good quality. My only complaint is the glue doesnt stick the gems on very well so id get some super glue for those.

Super cute craft! All pieces are great quality, the wood materials are thick and sturdy, perfect for toddlers with guidance, and easy to use. It’s a fun little craftivity! When the whole thing dries and is complete, it stays stuck together and well-made.

My 6-year-old absolutely loved this kit. She had asked Santa for a “real” wand, and this was the perfect gift. We told her that once she finished painting it, it would have real magic because it was one of a kind—made by her. She had so much fun decorating it and was incredibly proud of the result. Great quality, easy to use, and a wonderful creative activity that sparks imagination. Highly recommended for young kids who love crafts and pretend play.

I purchased two Melissa & Doug Wand Making Kits—one for my daughter and one for her friend—and they were a big hit. The girls had a blast decorating their magic wands, and the crafting portion took about 20–30 minutes, which was the perfect length to keep them engaged. Afterward, they spent even more time playing princess with the wands, so the fun definitely extended beyond the craft itself. The only downsides were that adult help was needed to assemble the wand, and some of the adhesive pieces weren’t sticky enough. I ended up using a stronger glue to make sure everything stayed together. Overall, we really enjoyed this kit, and I would recommend it for a fun, creative activity—just be prepared to assist a bit during assembly.

Really cute and easy craft for my 4 year old. I will be putting it in her Easter basket. Always great quality from Melissa and Doug.
