This is the second summer I am using this product. It couldn't be easier to use. I filled a bucket with some sticks and water, threw in a packet and let it sit to get brackish - perfect for mosquitoes. Every so often I would add more water, and every couple of months a new packet. I have noticed a difference in my yard at nightfall. I know God created mosquitoes for a reason (which is beyond me) but they do not have to live in my yard.

These pouches work great in my natural wildlife mini garden pond to keep mosquito larvae from growing.

I bought this product to put in my mother’s bubbling fountain to prevent mosquitoes. I thought these were in small packets of mesh. It would have been perfect. When I put a packet in the fountain, the mesh packaging disintegrated and unloaded about two tablespoons of peppercorn sized granules into the fountain which immediately got sucked into the pump. So be aware these are loose granules.

This is our first year of using this product to try to control mosquitoes. We live in central Florida on the Tampa Bay coast and mosquitoes are a huge issue The products comes in small dissolvable couches that you can throw in any body of water. Anywhere you have standing water or shallow water toss one in and it starts to work. The way this product works is it controls the larvae so the mosquitoes can never hatch. No larvae no mosquitoes! Over the years we have used several different products to include the donuts. We’ve always had good luck with the donuts but this year decided to try this product due to the ease of use and the price. All I can say is the last three weeks we have seen you were mosquitoes than before. I don’t think there’s any product that will control 100% of the mosquito population, but this one seems to come close.

So I can use the normal mosquito bits because the little pieces clog up my fountain pump and it is a huge pain to clean. So I bought these little baggies thinking I would get all the anti-mosquito chemical without the mess. Nope, the bags dissolve and the little pieces clog up my pump. So back to the dunks which don't clog my fountain pump. The dunks break down too and not sure why those don't clog the pump but they don't.

My filter to my pool broke over the summer and it’s just been downhill for my pool since I’ve been using these to help not make my backyard a crazy mosquito paradise and it’s done the job

No pic bc it's basically little grains in water in a decorative flower pot, but I have 3 different 'stations' of water with these packs in them on a .25ac lot, and they are FANTASTIC! I live in a very woodsy/natural neighborhood with lots of creeks (deep ditches) that hold rainwater runoff, so we are attacked by mosquitos just walking out front door to work daily. But after about 6wks or so of use, I can go outside for an hour with maybe one or 2 mosquitos attracted to me instead of the 50-60 that swarm at any given time! For some reason I feel that stirring the water with a stick helps keep contents dispersed and kills any eggs on the water surface. Give em a shot!
