The part is smooth black plastic. The original has rectangular holes along the mounting edge to accept the plastic tabs on the bumper, this does not, but it still fits. It is only secured by two screws on the wheel well ends. I think if it gets caught on something while backing up, it could pull off the bumper (and probably tear the screw mounts)

Good material

While this is a fraction of the price of an oem front lip there’s only 2 screws that hold this on…which are not there. You end up having to drill your own holes to properly mount it. If you are okay drilling holes to make it work then it “works” but if not look elsewhere. It is also a smooth texture where as the oe one was not smooth. It doesn’t look bad - but just noting the difference between this and oe
