Works to keep my 35 lb Bernese puppy from climbing into my lap in the front seat while I’m driving! Fairly easy to put together.

Installed this in my wifes car, because our two boxers "feel" they need to be upfront at all times.This does keep them in the back as intended, plus it's easy to install/remove when needed/not needed.

This barrier works great, keeps our big dog in the back seat. It doesn’t rattle, doesn’t block the view in the rear view mirror, and the dog can easily see what’s going on up front so I think that’s why she doesn’t feel a need to get through the barrier. We have used it in our Honda Accord, and also Honda CR-V. Very easy to transfer back and forth between the two cars. No directions in the box, but I watched the short video on Amazon and that’s all you need. I took off one star because the bungee cords that came with it were tiny and not strong. One of them broke immediately. I bought some inexpensive bungee cords at Home Depot and that does the job.

The straps broke pretty much the second I installed it. same with the bungee cords that weren't long enough to attach around the headrest. I bought additional better bungee straps and those work to keep it in place.

In preparing the back seat for our new puppy, we knew that the little guy was gonna be determined to get to us and be trying to come over the console. He’s tethered for safety and has a seat “hammock” for comfort. I just needed to block off the middle area and this was perfect in size. (Toyota Tacoma).It installed in 5 minutes and fit the area snugly. It lets you adjust the height you want it. Pup now weighs 17 lbs and sometimes stands on it briefly so it’s sturdy enough that it supports that and doesn’t shift its location. However, the better news is that the wire “grid” design isn’t comfortable for the dog’s feet, so he doesn’t try it often. He has learned that is his boundary, but I can still reach him to pet and give treats. Highly recommend.

I got this to help discourage my GSD from jumping onto the console between the seats. Unfortunately, I had an extremely dangerous situation happen. My dog’s neck was at the level of the top of the gate and his collar got stuck in the gate. I was driving on a Southern California freeway and he started yelping. I felt backwards and could feel it was stuck. I pulled over into the emergency lane and climbed into the backseat to untangle his neck.Once home I took off this flimsy wire thing and put it in the trash.

This product stood up in an accident with my dog in the car and kept him from going through the windshield. It also keeps him safe, distracting me driving and I know he’s safe in the backseat, even with the seatbelt tether and harness on. It’s just an added layer of protection. I highly recommend this. My dog loves his doggy jail and is excited to go for car rides. I think it makes him feel more secure.

This fits perfectly in our Dodge Journey and because it’s adjustable is more than sufficient to keep our 70 lb Aussie St. Berdoodle from encroaching on our Center armrest/ console and eventually ending up on my lap in the front seat.Took 5 minutes to adjust and install and was exactly what the description and reviews said it would be.Very happy! Would recommend. Measure the space between your Fri t seats to make sure it will work for you. A smaller pup could squeeze through th side possibly.

We adapted this for our car & it fits perfectly.

Keeps my 118lbs dog off my console. However my neighbours 45 lbs dog bent it pretty easily try to get over it. Overall, happy with it.

Thought it was overpriced for a small piece of wire and 2 plastic knobs.

It didn't fit my Subaru forester very well
