3rd plant from this company.
This is the 3rd plant I’ve order from this company. I’ve ordered both a Peace Lilly and a ZZ plant. The box to the ZZ plant came smashed (carriers fault) and loose dirt was in the box. No big deal. We all know how package handlers can be. Those plants are fine now. I saw this plant on their website on a list of low to medium light requirement plants, and decided I wanted one. The plant arrived perfectly fine and looks good. It does however have a tilt / lean to it just like my Peace Lilly did, but after following the aftercare instructions my Peace Lilly bounced back to normal. The leaves on this plant are very beautiful and colorful looking. So I can’t wait to see how they look when they get much bigger. If you don’t have a grow light, you should definitely get one. Just because a plant has low light requirements, doesn’t mean it should settle for low light. There’s a difference between surviving and thriving. And having a grow light has defiantly made my plants thrive. On another note, the pot that these plants come in, are the perfect size for the planter pots I bought. And if you’re curious where I got my planter pots from, they are from Target.

I TRUST COSTA FARMS'S PLANTS..
The plant arrived early and was beautiful, but within 2 days I noticed a couple of the bottom leaves were turning yellow.. The top leaves were healthy and kept growing.. When the plant arrived the soil had already been well watered so I refrained from giving any more water.. The plant has been struggling ever since. It has been in a well lit room, just as its friends, 4 Monsteras, 1 Fiddle leaf, 2 Peace plants and several Christmas catcus and various other plants, so I don't know what went wrong.. I have purchased many beautiful, healthy plants from Costa Farms and have been well satisfied. It is just about gone now.. Sometimes I think someting happens during shippings.. Especially in the winter.. Live plants are often left in a cold/hot warehouse over the weekend, which is detrimental to ant living plant..

Good quality plant. Arrived intact and healthy, different pot than shown in photo.
This plant is gorgeous and came in perfect shape. Despite having an issue with a multi-plant purchase, this and all of my single plant orders came in beautifully and are all thriving. I haven't finished building my jungle yet, so I'll definitely be buying more. It even came with a hot pack packed inside to keep it from freezing in our frigid cold snap the majority of the country is experiencing. The only issue is that the image of the plant included a self-watering container. While I likely would have changed it for a different one, I had plans to reuse it for a different plant to give as a gift. For that reason I am deducting a star, since I'll have to buy another pot for the gift I have planned.

Cute! Comes well watered and packaged! TOXIC TO CATS AND DOGS AND PEOPLE
I sadly wasn't here for the arrival of the plant, had to put that on a family member to unbox for me so it didn't die the 3 days I was gone, but when I got home I did get the pleasure of unwrapping the clingwrap around the pot and soil. It kept it all intact in transit it appears, and it also came with a heat pack, which was kind of the seller! Temps are no longer freezing but have def been dropping again after that heat we had, day time temps in the 40's-60's, night temps even cooler,, so was nice the seller included it! I haven't yet repotted since I just returned home to it yesterday, but did -despite the soil already being moist- water it with a systemic insecticide and ran it under the shower head, so if there are any non beneficial critters, they'll be killed off eating the plant. I didn't see anything upon inspection, but will keep my eyes peeled. I do have a cat so am keeping it up on my hamper out of reach. Have not measured it but seems a decent size! A baby leaf was killed in transit from the cling wrap but there seems to be more leaves unfurling. I think its a beautiful specimen, plants never come exactly as the pics, so kinda shocked others would expect that, do think the plants could have been fuller however, but pot size seems right. I do see some roots also hovering by the holes so im hoping that means its pretty established in the pot and not in some netting or just cuttings like others have had. Will update my review if things change once I repot and get a look inside the pot and if critters emerge. Apologies for the mess of a room and sad adopted from death plants on the right(I promise I have a green thumb lol, should've seen the state they were in when I saved them), thought a farther back photo would help more with scale of size.

A species I would not buy again
The plant seem to be in a great condition when it was delivered, but however, it failed to thrive. I have a large variety of plants and I was trying to add to my collection. However, I found the Dieffenbachia not easy to care for, or it had some disease or something. Every leaf that grow on it was brown and wilted. I cut all the leaves off started to plant over again however it still did not thrive. Eventually died and I threw it away. However, I have purchased other plants from Costco farms and they have thrived and I’ve had any problem with them.

They will guide you all through the plants life
I will never buy a plant from a store again. Everything I’ve ordered from Costa through the Amazon app has been wonderful. They come healthy and they have a wide variety of plants. They let you know how much light and water they need. They normally come needing a little water. I hope to have them for a long time.
