** UPDATE After 1 year of use ** I was a little concerned about the durability of the rubberized foam exterior, but after 1 year of outdoor use, all of my gear ties continue to be fully functional. ** FIRST IMPRESSION ** Fantastic product, it is not as heavy duty as the regular gear ties, but it is very grippy and has an internal wire of good quality and thickness. I use it for outdoor activities like camping, but it can be used for anything, just like any other Gear Tie. At a local outdoor store I had the opportunity of testing similar products, "UST Gear Snake" and "UST Gear Cobra" and they were very low quality, slippery and flimsy, these garden ties are much more substantial. For ~$10 they are a fantastic deal. I don't know why anyone would buy the more expensive regular gear ties. Keep in mind that cutting the material in pieces will expose the internal wire to the elements. For this I use some Heat Shrink Tubing to seal the ends.

This garden tie is easy on your plants' stems, easy to cut to the required length and easy to stabilize in whatever shape works best. It's a spool of garden tie and works as expected.

Buen producto

I have a roll of this and a pair of scissors in my greenhouse to use on my constantly growing tomatoes. Love it because it has a soft surface that doesn't damage my plants and a hard core that is able to give good hold. I also like that I can cut any length I need.
