The Fundamentals of Horticulture: Theory and Practice

I haven't finished this book but so far so good and I already learned a lot just from reading 4 chapters of it. It is really good for beginners. If you want to understand more about plants and how they work, this is a good book to start with.

It's a texbook, so pretty much what you would expect. I don't have any formal education in botany other than one class I took online in high-school. I was able to understand this book, but also felt like it offered a ton of information that would be useful to someone at a more advanced level as well. Not a casual read by any means, but if you're interested in the subject it's a great tet.

I bought this book brand new for a class I am taking. It arrived promptly, which was great...however, it arrived in less than perfect condition despite it supposedly being brand new. When I pulled it out of the envelope, the front cover was folded up and creased. The back cover had a thin piece of material that had been torn and lifted away from the cover which removed a section of wording. I laid it flat and taped it back into place so I could read it. As far as I can tell, the inside of the book was not affected. But I am disappointed that I spent $55 on a brand new book that lost so much value just being shipped to me.

Using this digital copy was difficult. It wasn’t easy to find the pages associated to what my professor was referring to.

This is a great book. Get a lot more information and extension on the course I have been doing.

I was expecting this to take a bit but I received it five days early! I’ve seen past reviews about creases in covers or pages, mine has the faintest faintest crease in the bottom right corner of cover, but I don’t even care I am so so so happy, definitely brand new! Thank you so much :)

i am very pleased i bought this book. new to horticulture, i found this book very useful, simple to understand and covering any aspect of horticultural principles. much much more simple and easy going than "principles of horticulture" by Adams, Bamford, Early.

Essential reading for horticulture study. Large clear colour pages.

Really fantastic book full of all the information and science hof horticulture easy to understand I would highly recommend this book.
