I am giving this a 1 star review based off of my personal needs. I was going to use it for hunting with my Ravin R10 Crossbow. It fit my scope just fine and setting it up was not hard at all. The major issue came when I tried to view my phone (iPhone 10) through my scope. My phone couldn’t decide which to focus on, the far away object (target or animal) or, my reticle (yardage marker in the scope) resolutely it decided to focus on the reticle and all far away objects were unviewable rendering this smartphone adapter absolutely useless. So, to all my hunting friends, scroll on. There is nothing to see here. (Pun intended). Just dig deep and go get a Tactacam. I have tried countless ways to avoid spending $350 on one, but to no avail. I just placed my order for a Tactacam 5.0. HOWEVER if you use a microscope, binoculars or anything that allows you a clear view with no reticle/yardage marker. This will absolutely work, 100%. For the cost, this is a really cool gadget. Just not for hunter

While simple to use and a clever idea, functionality leaves a lot to be desired. Had to removed my iphone 6s from protective case in order to attach. Mounting grip onto eyepiece was weak and was quite fearful that the whole thing would fall, which it did, I managed to catch it before it hit the ground. Image that appears on screen is just a round circle. Any smudge on eyepiece or camera lens is magnified.

Bought this for my husband. He has had no issues and likes its ease of use.

I am very critical on devices like this. My biggest complaint is the phone camera isn't close enough to the telescope or binocular all I get is a round video and need about a 2.5 zoom to fill the screen. I can hold the camera manually and it works much better but I can't hold it steady with my 30-60 times telescope. I think it would work better if the grabbing arms were a little longer. But other phones it might work way better so its work trying because it is built well.
