Perfect for antique delicate chair legs! Match hardwood floor color.
FINALLY!! I'd tried every other plastic chair leg glide, lint gathering felt pads, etc. on my kitchen chairs (spindly-legged 1920s stamped-back wooden chairs). Their two back legs are angled, which caused problems with every other types of glide. Felt pads fell off. I thought I'd found a solution with those glides that have circle-shaped metal rings that you hammer in. Supposedly those prevented the chair legs from splitting, a common problem with nail-on glides. However, those split my chair legs! The one thing they promised not to do. Heartbreaking on antique family chairs (fortunately I only put them on one chair). They split the straight and the angled chair legs...I have no idea why those are so well reviewed. Also, those circular hammer-on felt glides can't be used on angled legs. My back chair legs are only SLIGHLY angled, so I really thought I'd be fine. But even the slight angle made them not work at all, and split the back legs in several places. I later noticed the straight front legs were also split, just not as badly. Enter these swivel sliders -- and voilà! I just followed the brief directions, and they're great! I could tell immediately that they were going into the chairs without any problems, without any splits. My only suggestion is to drill a slightly smaller pilot hole than the 3/32 recommended...that seemed WAY too easy to drill the screw in, and the screw wasn't as tight as I'd like. I'd try one size smaller and see if that works first -- unless your chair's wood is extremely hard, you should be fine with a 5/64 bit pilot hole. The screws go in extremely easily (with a 3/32" bit), so be careful not to spin the screws around once they're tight. I did better only driving the screws in partway with a drill, and then switched to a hand screwdriver. You don't want to spin the screw once it's in, it'll make the hole bigger and the screws will loosen up quickly. (And don't forget to put the plastic "ball" onto the screw before screwing it on! I made that mistake once.) Once the "ball" is screwed on, the "cup" just pops onto it...and all is set! At first I was concerned, because the cup seemed a little tight, and didn't swivel around on the ball freely -- gravity didn't move it if I tilted the chair. But then I realized that this is a good thing -- once you put the chair on the floor, the glides get into the correct position, and then they don't swivel around. This is good, because they can't flip up on their side when the chair is moved and accidentally gouge the floor. They stay at just the exact angle that works best for your chair. At first they look so weird, because you just installed them and it's impossible to stop STARING AT THEM! But soon you don't even see them. It's just the change that makes them seem obvious at first...nobody else even noticed them! They don't pick up hair and lint like the felt pads, and now I can spill water near the table without needing to worry about whether my wooden chair legs are getting soaked and damaged (those felt pads hold a LOT of water!) One tip? If you have hardwood floors, buy the color that matches your FLOOR, not your chair. They blend in so much better that way. (Of course, if you have tile or another floor that doesn't match either color, then match the chair.) These seem like they'll last a long time, and then can be easily removed, since they're screwed on. I'm investing in buying an extra set, too, since if I accidentally break one, there's a good chance that it'll only be the base -- then I can just pop off and replace the "cup" and keep the "ball" screwed in place.

Could be improved
A good product, easy to install and works well. An improvement could be to have a permanent strong felt type tip. I have a ceramic floor and the previous squeakiness of the chairs when moved improved by 50% with the sliders. I then glued my own felt tips to the sliders with super strong glue. Now the chairs move silently. However, the felt tips need to be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on usage. To have a strong durable felt tip option to the product would be a good improvement.

good
These wre placed on oir kitchen chairs which were gouging our hardwood floors. A little hard to put one the legs but so far, they seem to be doing a good job.

Perfect Solution for Slanted-Leg Old Pine Captain Chairs
These work perfectly for protecting my wood floors! My kitchen table has a carpet underneath, and I needed a floor protector that could slide from carpet to floor and not come off (like the stick on felt ones did) and work with slanted legs (like the hammer in plastic white ones did NOT). These protectors pivot so they adjust to the slant of the chair leg and easily glide from carpet to wood floor. AND they install was so easy (drill a pilot hole and screw them in) that my 13 year old nephew put them on for me.

Started out good but wore out floor
I was very happy with them after buying them in 2014 but over time I notice they wore down the texture of our vinyl tiled floor. Now I'm back to using them as a swivel to hold felt pads

Stay on Your Feet !
Seems like a great idea. Easy to Install Adjustable to Chair Leg Angle But.... Once the chairs start moving., the feet , which are a snap fit , tend to pop off - and go under the furniture, or air vent or get lost entirely. Or your Dog or Toddler finds them and puts them in their mouth. I was going to buy more feet, just for replacements, but I'll look for a better solution.

sturdy plastic, easy to install
Very well made: sturdy plastic, easy to install. The wood screw recesses into the ball, which gets attached to the leg's end, and then the cup snaps snugly onto the ball - allowing the cup to swivel and stay level with the floor. I put them on all six chairs and they've been fine for months now. They raise the chairs up about a half-inch, but no one in the house seems to notice. They've helped tremendously, since our chair ends are at an angle and the felts don't stay on due to that fact. The only improvement I could wish for, is that the cup bottoms be knurled to help hold the felt pads, as a few have slipped off. I've reapplied and, if it happens again, I may try sanding the surface first.

Preferable to nail-on chair glides
Don't be put off by the online photo, which made me worry these might look ugly and obvious; they look just fine on my chairs. Only after reading online about this product (swivel slider feet) did I realize another benefit of this swivel design--that it accommodates an angled chair leg better than trying to tilt a flat glide while nailing it on. Probably would eliminate wiggle on an uneven floor surface too. I bought these for my kitchen chairs (with angled legs) that get daily use, and because they're screwed on (the glides, not the chairs, ha ha), they seem both sturdier and safer than nail-on glides. These come with a 5-year replacement warranty, which makes paying $4 per chair less of a big deal. The caramel color blends perfectly with oak floors, not sure how well it would work with lighter chair/floor colors. One caution: The package included no extra screws, and one screw was a malformed dud, so make sure you don't need your own screw(s) when you tackle the installation.

Excellent so far. Easy to install and they feel very sturdy. Our dining chairs have angled legs, and these work perfectly. I did order some felt to stick on the bottom as I do question whether or not the plastic would eventually mark up the floor. The felt also helps dampen the noise. Hopefully these hold up but so far they are doing a great job protecting my hardwood floor!

Patins pratiques à poser sur des pieds de chaise ,pour avoir un contact optimum avec le sol , mais bruit horrible au glissement sur carrelage .

I like these for our needs. I bought a patio set that has balls for feet. They leave little dents in the woodwork and after all his work finishing the deck, my husband was not pleased. I found these & with a little adjustment, they do the trick. They were a little smaller than I expected. On the package, they show different sizes but this was the only one available on Amazon. If they had been available, I would have bought a bigger size.

I'm exceptionally pleased with the Slipstick CB210 Swivel Glides for Chairs with Angled Legs. They were very easy to install, and easy to level a couple of "unlevel" chairs by shimming with a washer between the chair leg and the plastic ball. The chairs glide very smoothly over our ceramic tiles, and so far, the glides have not fallen off. Highly recommended!
