Love this and was hard as it should be. Can't beat English toffee.

The toffee is expensive for what you receive, but the product is only available out of state so price is expected. That saying the quality of the product should be fresh not with of an best buy date of three months. The taste was softer than usual, could of been harden like it use to be so quality could be better. I would just say check the best buy date when you receive.

I love this stuff but break off small pieces and just savor them. So creamy and delicious.

Rated one star for the flavor as I did not eat it I bought this for a gift for someone because of the hammer it comes with believe it or not, I have a family member who went to Austria and had a chocolate Hammer there for thick chunks of chocolate like peppermint chocolate just thicker chocolates that are hard to break could not find one of these hammers anywhere except for in this toffee pack, Works awesome just don't know about the toffee as I did not eat it so I cannot rate it appropriately

We love this toffee at our house. This is my third time purchasing, we ate the first one so fast I ordered another then refused to order any more for a year because we have no self control. :) I just ordered to give my son in his Christmas stocking and an extra for us to eat. It's so fun to break the toffee with the little hammer and it's the perfect toffee consistency, hard chewy. The flavor is amazing! I would order again and again but won't because I need to show some self restraint. :)

I've enjoyed this treat for years but was sorely disappointed this time. The slab was soft and mealy like caramel instead of the hard brittle toffee slab that requires a hammer. The last time I ate this toffee it was so yummy and chewy that I almost lost a cap, just as I like it. I'm so upset; is this seller an authorized distributor? The product is stale or spoiled somehow; I cannot imagine that this is being sold by Walkers. This product is disgusting.

I bought a slab of Walker's toffee w/hammer years ago and it was indeed brittle enough to break into shards when hammered, UNLIKE the slab I recently purchased. Though still delicious, the new product is too soft to break with the included hammer. Has the recipe changed? Is the one I received too fresh still to break into shards? I can simply twist off a piece with my fingers, making the hammer redundant. I tried visiting the Walker's website directly but was prevented by my browser security, which indicated that site is infected with some phishing component.
