The Coolest Timex Watch In Years
This is the nicest looking watch Timex has done in a long time. I have worn their Expedition watches before, usually my watch of choice for deployments, because they are basically indestructible. And if they do get scuffed or beat up, they do not cost a fortune to replace. I like the features of this particular watch. The rotating bezel is a major plus. The crystal is slightly recessed behind the bezel to protect it from scratches. And the watch is waterproof. The visibility of the dial and hands is excellent both in daylight and using the awesome Indeglow feature. The nylon fabric watchband is double layer of contrasting color and looks good. The band is stiff for a fabric band, but is surprisingly comfortable and smooth feeling on the arm. I found myself forgetting to take it off at night. I like the analog/digital combo. The digital area defaults to time. It is small and does not light up with the Indeglow. A single button press brings up the date, which is a plus. There are too many features to the tiny digital area: timers, lap, time zones, alarm, etc. With only 3 buttons to seek and set everything, it can be fiddly. Overall, this is one tough watch that is more than it has a right to be. Great value for the money at this low price point.

Nice looking, rugged, easy to use watch
It's a nice watch with indiglo and various useful features, such as an extra time zone display on the digital portion (in addition to the main time on the digital portion), a timer and alarm. Whilst it's true that it's supplied with no instructions, I have to wonder at the helplessness of people complaining they can't use this watch without instructions as you can find a manual online in about 10 seconds. I just downloaded the "Trail Series Digital-Analog Combo" manual under the Expedition Series section of the Timex manuals and used that. I also have to wonder about the reviews stating that this watch is too small for a man and is therefore only suitable for kids. It's a 39 mm case, which is 1.5 mm larger than the Submariner Connery wore in his James Bond films. If you think he looked like he was wearing a girl's watch then maybe you'll need something bigger than this but otherwise I think you will be fine.

Good Watch with Stiff Wrist Band
Watch comes with no user setup info, but website has manual. Setup was OK. The wrist strap is very stiff and hard to close and open, but I suppose it will get better with usage. Watch looks great and operates just fine.

Timex - NEVER stop making this watch
This is my 5th or 6th Expedition watch in this model. This is the best watch in the world! Why? I travel a lot and do pro bono work in various foreign countries. This watch is not fancy and you won't have anyone chopping your arm off to get a it vs what will happen to you if you have a Rolex or some fancy-smancy Swiss snob watch. You can have three time zones on this watch because there is the analog and two digital. When i travel I always keep my home time zone in T2, which is set via the international time clock to the second (easy to do). So, if I go to Joberg or Shanghai I can easily switch the analog to the local time and put T1 as the date and digital time. I hope they never stop making this watch. I went to two stores in my town and could not come close to finding it. Timex has gone to these ginchy watches that are useless and cheap. My plan is to buy two more and store them. This watch can take a real beating. I put mine on and almost never take it off. One I had lasted 10 years with two battery changes. My latest one had the dial pin pop out in my hand when I pulled on it..gently. In other cases the menu pins stopped working. In most cases under constant wear they are good for 4 years. I have looked at G-Shocks.... that watch line defines silliness to me. They are too bulky at the wrist. This Timex is simple and awesome.

Look elsewhere
I have had the identical model watch for almost 20 years. Much like many of the other reviews, the crown fell off when resetting the time to a new time zone. I guess the watch was made a bit more sturdy decades ago and something about the manufacturing process changed. My watch is not easily fixable because the stem itself broke and cannot be repaired; it would need a new stem and crown since the end of the stem is still stuck in the crown. My previous watch kept great time and I found it was relatively easy to program. Because the watch was reliable for so long, I bought another even though it now costs twice as much. The new one was not functional when it arrived. The box the watch came it was damaged because it was sent in an amazon envelope rather than the small Amazon mailing box, although the watch itself seemed fine even though it was dead. I thought it no problem as I have changed the battery a few times on the old watch - the case was held on by four small Phillips head screws. Unfortunately, Timex changed their design and now the case is fastened by far less common triangle head screws. I have precision Phillips screwdrivers for several electronic devices but have nothing with triangle head screws. Of course the one screwdriver that will fit those screws is not sold independently - it is sold in a kit with several other sizes. So, I would have to buy a largely useless kit for the one screwdriver that I would use about every 4-5 years. Timex customer support was responsive but not helpful. Their solutions were to send the watch back to Timex for warranty work which may have taken months as the rep stated it would be sent out of the country, or to go to a local watch repair/jeweler and likely incur a labor charge for a watch that didn't work upon arrival. Based on other reviews, I'd say build quality and the quality control have declined over the years. Be advised; that is what you may be in for if you choose this watch.

Does not last long.
I’ve have three of these Expeditions over a span of 10 years. They’re great watches but I think the quality over the years has gone down. Two of these three purchases the crowns broke off. With my most recent watch, I tried gluing the crown back with Guerrilla Glue but it didn’t work. It’s best to save your money and go look for better and longer lasting watch.

Watch is good for the price. It feels light and a bit plastic but appears to be solid/well built. The strap I quite stiff but after a bit of use it fits well. The idiglo light works/looks great but the instructions are definitely sub-par. Most of the basics aren't covered in them and neither are nifty things to know like hold the light button for 3 seconds to change what the light button does when pressed... overall happy with the look of the watch and the quality.
