Great for older PC's as well as new.
This took no time and now complications to install. No drivers are needed in most cases and within moments of popping it in and bolting the case shut, I was up and running. It also has great reception, pulling in almost everything in a 5 block radius. I was very impressed for something so inexpensive. I'm running MXLinux on the system I have and it had zero issues seeing the adapter. Best twenty bucks I've spent in a while. This was a no brainer. USB dongles just don't cut it. This is a great upgrade and fast too. Update: Still working so good, that I bought two more and have installed these on every machine that has the bus to put them in. I'm knocking on wood now as I say that these have impressed me with how well they've lasted, still going strong!

Works with Linux - no problems
Linux Mint 22 loaded drivers and it works fine. Have not tested for distance - it will go from 5ft from router to 40ft thru 3 walls into the garage next week - that will be the test

It works as intended.
No complaints with this device. As soon I installed it, it works right away. The Bluetooth part works as well. It took me a little time to figure out where to connect the Bluetooth cable. Other than that it is a plug N play device. I found out that the reception is better when the antennas are pointed towards the source. So for Iām happy with this device.

Connection Quality Horrible
As soon as I installed this, it showed every wireless network near me far weaker than my other wireless devices, including a USB WiFi adapter. The USB adapter could connect & hold signal no problem. This PCI-E card couldn't stay connected, or go over 20mb/s when it was. 0/10 would not struggle with again.

Bluetooth did not work, weak wifi.
Could not get Bluetooth to work although it did show OK in device management. Weak WiFi, could only get 20Mbits in adjacent room. When located in same room 20 feet from router signal increased to 180Mbits. Android phone at same location could download at 240Mbits. I mostly use a MAC or Linux computer so rarely use Windows anymore. Was easy to load drivers for WIN7 and connect. WinXP required several extra steps and I had to use the Utilities provided on the included mini CD to set up a wireless connection but it did work. Connection speeds were slightly better than with WIN7.
