Excellent safety vest for visibility at night
This vest is superior as a safety vest for the person walking a pet, walking, running or jogging for exercise or riding a bike. It is adjustable both in terms of length and size around the waist and stretches so that it fits over even bulky winter sweaters and jackets. At night in the red reflection of car tail lights, the entire vest is a bright orange, front and back; in the car head lights the entire vest is a silver white. Excellent for safety for someone on the street at dusk or night. Recommend you let the belt out to the maximum lengths both to go over the shoulders and around waist before you put belt on for the first time. This along with the stretch will allow the belt to go over sweaters and bulky jackets and be at your waist rather than at your rib cage as some other safety vests. I am female 5' 8" and my male neighbor is 5' 11" and this safety belt fits both of us comfortably. It is very easy to put on and take off. Unclip the two sides at the waist; put your head through the opening in the center, letting the long sides drop in back of you and the clips are in front at your waist; then bring each side around to clip at your waist. Make sure the belt is straight and not twisted either over your shoulders or around your waist. To remove, simply unclip both sides at the waist and pull belt over your head. If you do it once, you won't have any trouble whatsoever in putting it on or taking it off. I highly recommend this safety vest. Great value for the money. Well made and durable.

Worth buying
Such a simple design but so much better than similar products. This is very light weight. It is super reflective and adjustable to fit just about anyone. Easy to get on and off. I tried a cheaper version and hated it so much I ordered this after one run.

Well Made. Great Customer Service
This item is light and packs away small. That's one thing that attracted me to it, more than a full vest. It can be rolled up and will fit in a small jacket pocket, or take up only half of a large pocket. It feels to be of good quality, and it looks plenty reflective. The buckles are rather thin plastic. That's nice for lightness; but I do wonder if they'll hold up in the long run. They're working fine so far. It is made of a stretchy material, so it can fit snugly without being tight. I didn't expect it to be stretchy, but I got used to it almost immediately. In the winter, the snugness served to hold my parka closed, since it is a bit small for me and hard to zip up. Still, the horizontal loop was a bit too snug for me when fully extended (I'm about 52" or 56" around with winter clothes on.) Amphipod took care of that problem by sending me a couple of extension pieces. All I had to do was call them and tell them what size I was. I spoke to a young lady named Kelly who was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Now that's customer service above and beyond what you can usually find just anywhere. Now I wear it so it fits close but not snug. It's light and I sometimes forget I have it on. Thanks a lot, Kelly and Amphipod.

Great for riding at night
I use the Xinglet for night riding on my motorcycle. The reflective quality is great and it's incredibly lightweight so I don't even notice it. It's very adjustable to fit almost anyone. The only criticism I have is the buckles do seem to be made of cheap plastic. That being said I've had no problems with them. If the plastic was heavier duty I'd give it five stars. I would still buy this again and recommend it as I don't believe the plastic quality will affect the usage.

Be seen at night without the bulk
I start my long training runs at 4am to beat the heat. As such, being seen by drivers is a big concern. In the past, I used reflective vests, but didn't like having another layer on me. Even though it was a mesh fabric, the vest retained heat. I ran with just a reflective belt, but didn't think it offered enough reflective surface to be useful. I even lengthened the belt and wore it diagonally across my chest. It gave it more reflective surface, but kept moving up toward my neck and chafing. The Amphipod Xinglet was great. Light weight (once you adjust the lengths so it's not too tight, not too loose, you forget about it), doesn't noticeable block airflow, and gives 360 degree visibility. The only con I have for it (and all reflective belts) is that wearing it makes you feel a little self-conscious since you stand out, but it's better to be seen and safe than accidently run over while running.

reflective vest works perfectly!
I recently moved to OK. OK doesn't have sidewalks, so a reflective vest is paramount on my morning runs. This reflective vest works perfectly!

Love it!
I can’t speak to the reflective material wearing off as mine is brand new. But it fits wonderfully, is easy to adjust, easy to put on and is so minimal it fits in my front bike pouch when I come off the bike. Appears to be very well made. Had no issues on the ride today with it and don’t anticipate any. Living in AZ, this style of vest is perfect for the extreme heat we have here. I had tried another full-coverage vest and had to return it. It slid around on my shoulders and I also felt like I was supposed to be directing traffic.
