Woodpeckers Mini Square, Made in USA, Small Pocket Woodworking Square for Setup, Assembly, Checking Cutting Edge

My new go-to square for table saw blades, bandsaw blades, and anything else in the shop where precision is necessary. I love the size and accuracy of it. This is a top quality square.

I bought this small square for two reasons; (1) I needed a smaller square to do some layout work (pencil on wood) in tight quarters and (2) I wanted to trial one of Woodpecker's tools because I had heard good things and this was one of their least expensive items. When I opened the shipping package I was surprised by how small the square was - even though it was per the stated dimensions. It just strikes you as very small. But I chose it for it's small size and it has turned out to be an extremely useful tool. One of the things that I like is that the two legs of the square are the same thickness so you can use it to mark lines on surfaces that are 90 degrees apart. Many squares have a thicker short leg and a thinner "blade" for the longer leg. I don't know - it's just a tool that I didn't realize I needed so much until I got it and now that I have it, I use it a ton. It's very well made and its small size allows me to keep it always handy in a pocket. And its made in the USA :) -Very happy

My grandfather was a master machinist in the Navy during Korea and was machining parts and tools till the day he died. He always wanted me to take over but I made poor decisions. But I still appreciate machined and accurate tools and this square is beautiful and compact. I plan on getting into modeling and small projects so this will be perfect. The craftsmanship is excellent and this actually shipped and got to me 3 days sooner than expected so definitely a 5 star product all around. I plan to order more from this buyer as projects come up.

Very good product good quality easy shipping

The square is very nice minus the one slight defect. Mine had small dents on one edge of the square. For the price you pay and the "high quality" of woodpecker tools I would have expected a better inspection of the tool. It still operates just fine but annoying to have to see the dents on a high end tool.

It is mini alright. Very small square, did not pay attention the dimensions. Don’t use very much.

There were some delivery challenges. The supplier delivers via a mix of UPS and USPS. USPS is responsible for final delivery so if you do not have USPS delivery to your street address you must specify a PO box or have it delivered to another address that the USPS does deliver to. That said, the supplier was very attentive to my concerns - So kudos to them for delivery. Other than that, the square is as advertised and I'm very pleased with its construction and accuracy. As it happens, I work in a Metrology lab and am able to measure squareness to a very high degree of accuracy. While not accurate enough for super precision machining work, this product is more than accurate enough for woodworking layout and machine set up. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's worth it if you want your projects to be square.

Traumhaft schönes Teil - Leider keine Zahlenskala, nicht sonderlich günstig! Sonst aber ein Hammer Teil ein bischen wie Schmuck in der Werkstatt auch die Aufbewahrungsbox ist Mega. Alles sehr wertig.

Woodpeckers sind keinesfalls mit dem üblichen China Müll zu vergleichen. Sehr hochwertig, sehr präzise.... Und ja, sehr teuer.
