After over 15 years I found a sandal that is comfortable for my mortens neuroma and narrow foot
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these sandals. I have had mortens neuroma for over 15 years. In that time I have only been able to wear one brand of water (discontinued) sandals. I was told not to wear sandals by podiatrist but I continued to search for one that didn't hurt my feet. My transferable thin leather inserts would fall out the back and sides, my feet are narrow and most sandals are way too loose, most have velcro (which i hate) and the straps overlap too far. All those years living in southern california without sandals...is tragic. We recently went on a long trip to India and I didn't want to wear my comfy lightweight converse sneakers the entire time so I ordered these with fingers crossed. From the time I put them on I was comfortable. Adjusting the straps took patience and i have a long tail I have to figure out what to do with. Taking them on and off at all the Indian Temples we went to was not as easy as those in flip-flops but HEY......I wore them every day except on the planes and a jungle walk and was extremely comfortable. NO PAIN. PERFECT FIT. I am definitely going to get more colors! I didn't get the one without the toe strap because of all the walking we would be doing on rough terrain and I tend to trip easily. Right choice. I liked how these extended beyond my toes to protect them from objects but secure enough I could go anywhere. The Cloud was the right choice with the perfect amount of flexibility for the neuroma but I still didn't feel the rubble below. I can also wear these on the beach. My other water shoes would collect sand in the toes and every few steps I had to shake it out...like a cat that got its feet wet. So happy to have my toes free (and be able to show off nail polish for the first time in almost 2 decades!).

Super cute pattern, typical Chaco quality - will get dirty quickly in this color of course
Very cute sandals. Now that my daughter's feet have stopped growing I am willing to spend more on her shoes. All the camp counselors have Chacos and she's doing a teen leadership program so she can be one too. So naturally she had to have a pair. I have had multiple pairs of Chacos so I know the quality and arch support (which she needs as a ballet dancer). She picked these and my only complaint is that of course they are off white so they were dirty by the time she came back from camp the first day. So while these are the quality Chaco always provides, probably not the best choice for color if you have an actually active outdoor life unless you want to be cleaning the straps all the time. Chacos require regular cleaning anyway (IYKYK) little Folex carpet stain remover (my not-so-secret weapon against every stain in existence) and a tooth brush has restored them. Use baking soda on the insoles. And trust me, if you don't know, you will want to at least do this second part regularly. If you wear a half size order down. My daughter is an 8.5, so we took a chance and got the 8s and they fit perfectly. She was able to figure out how to adjust the straps herself for a perfect fit with the directions and has found them to be perfectly comfortable for being on her feet all day hiking and helping manage groups of little kid day campers.

Love them.
I waited a while to review these lovely sandals just because. Well I freaking love them. I’ve worn them consistently since February and they are holding up like brand new. I wear them a few times a week they are my go to shoes after I get home from work. I have had a few pairs of Chaco’s prior to this pair and when you know you know. At first I was slightly confused about the strap situation, but after following the instructions (included on a card inside the box) I got them to fit exactly as expected. I ordered a size 8 and yes that’s my size. Normally in women’s Nike sneakers I wear size 9. And 8.5 in Adidas. So yes size may be trial and error? I love the look of these sandals and have convinced the multiple girlfriends who compliment them to buy a pair. I have knee issues and get regular cortisone shot, these are comfortable. Much more comfortable than other higher end sandals I’ve worn and own. What I really enjoy is how comfortable they are and how my feet don’t hurt. Great supportive sandals for any occasion! Yes I truly do recommend this style Chaco and I especially love this color choice!

Durable Comfort with a Few Considerations
The Chaco Women's Zcloud 2 Sandal has proven to be a reliable choice for both durability and versatility, although it comes with a few points to consider. First and foremost, the durability of these sandals is commendable. They've weathered various terrains during hikes, offering reliable support and protection. The adjustability is another notable feature, ensuring a customized fit that caters to individual comfort preferences. The breathability factor is excellent, making these sandals ideal for warmer climates or extended outdoor activities. However, the sole, particularly the arch support, took some getting used to. Even with high-arched feet, there was a breaking-in period. It's worth noting that the arch support might not be universally comfortable for everyone. On a positive note, the matching pair for my husband in the men's version was a great choice for our honeymoon hiking adventures. The durability and functionality of the sandals were consistent across both pairs. In summary, the Chaco Women's Zcloud 2 Sandal offers durability, adjustability, and breathability, making them a solid choice for outdoor activities. While the arch support might take some getting used to, the overall performance and reliability make them a worthwhile investment for adventurous outings.

Impressive Durability
The Chaco Women's Zcloud 2 Sandal has proven to be an absolute game-changer for my backpacking trips and river adventures. The comfort level of these sandals is unparalleled, making them an essential companion for long hikes and water activities. The design is not only stylish but also incredibly functional, providing excellent support and stability. What sets these sandals apart is their versatility. Whether I'm trekking through challenging terrains or wading through a river, the Chaco Zcloud 2 Sandals offer the perfect balance of comfort and durability. The adjustable straps ensure a secure fit, and the LUVSEAT footbed provides exceptional arch support, making them ideal for extended wear. The durability of these sandals is impressive; they withstand the elements and rough terrain without sacrificing comfort. The non-slip outsole gives me confidence in various conditions. Overall, I highly recommend the Chaco Women's Zcloud 2 Sandal for anyone seeking a reliable, comfortable, and versatile footwear option for outdoor adventures. They have become a staple on my backpacking trips, and I wouldn't embark on an outdoor journey without them.

Size down if you're a half size...
I thought I'd post this for those who are in between sizes, since a lot of reviews tell people to size up. My regular shoe size is a 7.5 wide and I have wide feet with a normal width in the heel (think duck feet). I generally size up when half sizes are not available, so I ordered an 8 wide (sandal on the right). There was too much toe room and they felt generally ill-fitting and awkward. The back strap was too loose and couldn't be tightened without pulling the top strap too tight. I then ordered a 7 wide (sandal on the left) and they fit perfectly. They feel comfortable and not at all clunky on my feet like the 8 wide did. I'm still getting used to the footbed, as I've never worn Chaco's before (the footbed is much more substantial than the Teva's I'd been wearing). I'll come back and update once I've worn them more. I was able to first try on different styles of Chaco's in an outdoor store, but had to go online to find them in a wide width. The model without the toe strap was more comfortable to me, but the toe strap makes them feel secure on my feet. I also like the single strap vs the double strap model. It's way too difficult to get the double strap adjusted properly. Anyway, I'm keeping the 7 wide, so my advice is to try to size down if you're in between sizes, depending on how you like your shoes to fit. Update: I've had these sandals now for about a year and after the adjustment period, I love them. I just went to a convention that had a ton of walking, and these were more comfortable to walk in than my expensive running shoes. My only issue lately is that the straps keep loosening on their own, and I have to keep tightening them.

Best Chacos EVER! Must own!
I suffer from a severe case of plantar fasciitis, along with a short Achilles tendon, so being on my feet for long periods of time is torture for me. I own an older pair of Classic Z/2 chacos and love the support they give my feet, but i can’t wear them if im going to be on my feet for longer periods of time because the surface is too rough on the bottoms of my feet and rubs them raw. This new style of Cloud chacos has solved this problem. These have a softer surface that no longer rubs my feet raw and are so much more comfortable to wear all day. I had a Disneyland trip coming up and got these two weeks before I was to leave so my feet could get used to them. I was not at all looking forward to being on my feet for 4 days in a row at Disneyland. My Cloud Chacos were the only footwear I brought with me, and I cannot believe how huge of a difference it made to wear them everyday that I was in the park. My Cloud Chacos made what would have been an almost unbearable experience into an extraordinary one. For the first time in many years, I was able to remain on my feet the whole day, and was even able to push my father’s wheelchair without my feet suffering from excruciating pain. I am so grateful that I discovered these new Cloud Chacos, and am so thankful I was able to enjoy this awesome adventure with my parents without being ruined by the pain I would have likely experienced otherwise. I now have a reliable shoe to wear everyday and wish I could afford to by another pair to designate as my house shoes when I am on my feet at home. The buckle strap was extra long so I had to shorten it myself, but no biggie for my since I have a nice sewing machine. The only thing that would improve these new Cloud Chacos is to have them in a slightly wider width. My older Chacos are the wide width but are a little too wide and the Regular is slightly too narrow so something in between a regular width and wide width would be perfect.
