Play Almost Any Game on Ultra
Stepped up from a GTX 660 to this GTX 770. I was going to go with the GTX 760, but benchmarking scorecard wasn't that much of a difference from my GTX 660. Upgrading video cards is only worth it if you increase two or three models. Don't purchase this card if you have a GTX 760 or GTX 670, you won't see the price difference. MSI is one of the best for OC and sound. I have this card on a micro ATX board in a small case that hooks up to my media center. I love playing Stream "big picture" on my couch with an Xbox 360 controller.I can now play almost any game on Ultra at an enjoyable level. I do get some vertical line issues on games like Frycry 3 or AC Black Flag, but just have to drop some of the settings. BF4, COD Ghost play buttery smooth at Ultra.I didn't want to buy the GTX 780 or 780 ti, because of the price and knowing DDR4 memory is coming out later this year and didn't know what Nvidia was working on.Note, use can build an amazing gaming computer for about $650-$800 that is better than PS4 or Xbox One. But the main reason you would build a gaming system, is you can play almost all the same console games, with the same controller on your PC for much less. Instead of paying $59 for BF4, AC Black Flag, and more, you can pay half or sometimes free (I received AC Black Flag for free with this card). Oh... PC games allow you to mod (Skyrim is the best example).

Almost Perfect Video Card
I bought 2 cards to run them in SLi. My first card runs flawlessly and has had zero issues. It's been rock stable in my system and runs 90% of the games at Ultra Settings. However, the second card I received has a very slght knocking sound coming from a fan when the fan is not running super fast. Amazon is amazing and has cross shipped me a new card to replace it. The second I get home from vacation I will be sure to plug it in and test it out. Both cards are plugged into an Asus Z77 Sabertooth powered by a Corsair AX860i PSU. Please note that these cards use 2 8pin adapters each!! This is different than the reference board which issues on 6 and one 8 pin adapter to power the card.

Awesome Performance
Okay so I am a Grand Theft Auto junkie. Now that I decided to sit down and play GTA IV through I wanted to play it with the best possible experience. I tinkered with Crossfired 6970's and other fixes but could not get what I wanted. Ultimate gaming power requires a fast processor, fast and ample memory, an SSD, but MOST IMPORTANTLY a fast graphics card. When I installed this card in my system, I just had a feeling. I went into the game settings and maxxed all of them out, 100 percent and loaded the savegame I had from the beginning. I exited the apartment to the street, no pauses whatsoever when the door swung open, no drunken-feeling when I panned the mouse left and right in crowded areas, and, most importantly, the night shadows presented with no blurs and caused no performance changes. People might criticize Rockstar games for their alleged inefficient code but I see it as a game design well ahead of its time and the code not so inefficient. You need to realize how many pieces of data are being rendered at any given millisecond. If you compare the PC version of GTA IV to a PS3 or Xbox 360 you will find the settings on the console systems extremely limited and that if you set your PC version to the same settings, you will enjoy the game, but seeing the settings maxxed out, never go back to what you had. I did not load Nvidia performance profiles or tell the MSI control panel to up the settings for gaming, GTA IV ran flawlessly with this card out of the box and the supplied drivers loaded. A driver update since then might have improved things but not seeing flaws to begin with is a moot point. When running GTA IV maxxed out, not once do the fans on this whir as they did with my MSI Twin-Frozr 6970 card. With little info out on the MSI 780 Gaming Series, the specs still show this one to be the one to have overall. A game like GTA IV might prefer this card anyway as if the game sees more than 2GB of VRAM it will stupidly tell you your card cannot perform well and will cripple the game. Getting a card with more memory might future-proof you but then again you might need more performance off the GPU so you would be wasting your money as of this moment.

Poorly designed for SLI and physical interaction/removal.
Arguably one of the worst designed 770's out there. There are two glaring faults with this card:1) The reinforcing bracket along the edge/spine/PCB blocks rigid SLI bridges, you have to use ribbon bridges and even then, they don't fully seat.2) The heatpipes block access to the power connector clips, so unless you have the fingers of a kindergartner (or pliers), it's impossible to unplug the power connectors.

running smoothly
Arrived earlier than mentioned. The box was a bit damaged but the GPU was intact and is running smoothly! Happy!
