Lipstains Gold (Tulip)

I ordered this in Tulip. It's a little brighter than in the image - more of a intense red, but it looks so good on. It's actually much nicer than I thought it would be and better than the "Red" colour (which I have also). The colour lasts forever on me and takes quite a number of hours to wear off (even after eating and drinking). Whilst it does moisturise my lips on initial application I find that after a number of hours my lips feel slightly dry but not adversely. I'm happy with my purchase, however, I'm not sure if the colour in the swatch above is entirely accurate. Luckily, on this occasion I was very happy with the colour. If I could give this 4.5 stars I would, as I feel the colour swatches in the examples above might be slightly misleading. However as I'm happy with the product I will give it a 5.0

Lipstain Gold Lipsticks are superb. I have used them for many years, and in all colour shades. Long lasting & colourful. Have enjoyed many compliments on the lipstick.

Unfortunately this lipstick did not work like a lipstain at all for me and it will join the numerous other lipsticks in my collection. While the formula is quite nice and it is very pigmented, I was really hoping it would last longer than a normal lipstick and not sure why it didn't since it's a brand which has been around such a long time & others said it was long wearing on them. The colour I selected was Tulip (a gorgeous colour by the way, and very pretty on my darker toned skin). I am going to try another colour to see if there is a difference.

To date I have purchased four Lipstains Gold lipsticks. The seller is absolutely fine and I have no complaints with the service or shipping. The manufacturer, however, does not describe the colors accurately and does not attribute “shimmer” to shades that contain sparkles, which I do not care for. Oddly, the formulas are different for each shade. Some colors bleed into lines around the lips while others don’t. Some leave a long lasting stain while others do not. After this most recent purchase I don’t think I will repurchase. Again-the seller is lovely-this review is about the product only.

Vivid color, stays on more like a stain. Smells like I stole it from my grandmothers stash she still has left from when she was my age. I even smell it while wearing it, not just when I stick my nose up to the tube to smell it. Won't purchase this again even though the color wears longer than Beseme.

This is a great lipstick!

Received my Blush lipstick today. Very disappointed. Either the formula had changed or I was sent old product. Not creamy at all.
