SUPERB staple gun. So EASY on the hand after firing a thousand staples.
Not once did I get a jam or misfire. Went through thousands of staples. This is the best staple gun I've ever used (besides my pneumatic one OBVIOUSLY :D) The ONLY thing I would change if possible would be to somehow give it a 'nose' so it reaches about an inch forward. There were times where I just couldn't get to a staple position because of how large the assembly is. Still...I'd buy again in a hot second. I'm being nit-picky. Oh...there is a small learning curve surrounding opening the cartridge and loading the staples. Once you get around that, it's smooth going from there!

stapler shot me !
These powershot staplers used to be good. They are now a crap producing company. I bought three at home depot and they all were missing outside screws and nuts and of course they did not work. I called the company and they told me the "top of the line orange one works". I ordered one from Amazon and it is junk, it has a delayed fire problem. I shot myself in the stomach, as it went off 2 minutes later. After 10 delayed shots everything broke off! THESE ARE DANGEROUS.

Worked well for installation of radiant barrier in attic
I used this item in conjunction with Arrow brand T50 1/4" staples to staple 1,000 square feet of foil radiant barrier to the trusses in my attic. The forward action of the staple gun was helpful in allowing me to use my body weight to assist with the stapling process, particularly when working in difficult areas of my attic's very complicated truss system. I researched staple guns quite a bit before making this purchase and was concerned from what I read in other reviews that this item may jam frequently or simply be of poor quality all around. I have had a few jams and misfired staples, which I think is normal when going through a full box of 1,250 staples. However, I'd challenge others to identify a reasonably-priced staple gun that doesn't jam/misfire on occasion and for which such instances are solely attributable to inherent defects in the design and operation of the product. Maybe such a product exists -- if so please comment on my review to help others find the best product for their money. For now, I am satisfied with my purchase and plan to continue using this staple gun to continue installing a radiant barrier throughout the remainder of my attic.

yes!
OK there's a trick to loading the staples, and this industrial model is a little stiffer than the smaller one but it does the job and doesn't hurt my hand. Once you learn the trick to opening the back to load it you're home free. Been using this kind of stapler for 3 decades (used it to upholster furniture to earn my way through college) and it really makes a hard job easy. This is my first time with the heavy duty industrial model as I kept wearing out the lighter ones.

Defective Product
Today after a long hot summer, we had some rain and decided to put radiant liner in Attic. This "arrow fastener 8000 powershot" didn't work. It turned out that the spring which holds the tension on the staples was disengaged. Manufacturing defect. I tried to fix but no success. I wasted my time. Went to return menu. Return window closed yesterday Aug 28 Today is Aug 29. Threw in trash. Update: Outstanding Customer support: MaxWarehouse the vendor reached out to me and informed they are processing the refund.

Loading issues
I was disappointed when it came to loading the staples. It was so difficult and I honestly didn't have the strength to do. I had to get my husband to do it. He even had a hard time. I have used other models of Powershot staplers all the time and loved them, but because I use them so much, they don't last. I decided to try the Powershot 8000 thinking it would be longer lasting, but I was disappointed in the product. I am not sure why the loading is so difficult, The other models are much simpler.

Even BMW makes a lemon now and then
I've had one of these staplers (an exact copy) for years and it worked quite well. Was very happy with it but it finally broke. Made me sad but I accepted that. So now I see that they are still available and I ordered another. I get it in good tome and proceed to use it. I got exactly five staples through it when it broke. That's why I headlined about BMW the way I did. I really like this stapler and want to replace it.
