I was looking for a cute picnic basket that was functional as well as decorative and this fit the bill. Unfortunately the first one that I received had issues with the weaving - the bottom branches were all broken or incomplete - at least that's what it looked like. If you glide your hand over the edge, it would scratch you and would definitely snag on any loose blanket material that you laid the basket on. And because it was missing branches I was worried at some point the stuff I put in the basket would eventually fall out from the bottom. I was disappointed and went on Amazon to return, but they had an exchange option. I really loved the look so I decided to give them a second chance and exchanged it. The new one came quickly and just in time for picnic at a winery that I had planned. The new one was was fantastic, beautiful and the bottom weaving was definitely complete. I ordered the large size so it was big enough for food, water, extra blanket. I love the top which can be used as a small table. Even my husband commented on the functionality and thought that was great idea. So glad I got it!

I've had this basket for about 2 years now and still love it. I've used so many times and its done very well. It's very stable with the wicking, the handles are easy to use. The inside is pretty spacious. I've only used it for a picnic for two, so I can't comment on if it will carry food for more than 2, but I'm pretty sure you could fit food for four. The top is also awesome because its hard, so you could use it as a tiny table to hold drinks and food. The only thing I wish it had was a lid clasp to keep the lid in place. Pros: Stable, easy to carry, hard top lid Cons: Lid close clasp Overall, I would definittely recommend this product.

Great quality and beautiful. The perfect touch for picnics big and small. Fits beverages and 2-4 small take out containers very easily. The liner is easily removed and washable. We have now purchased both sizes of this basket and use them equally depending on how many people will be at the picnic. The lid straps do come unsnapped very easily. Our remedy is to attach thin zip ties under the strap to minimize how wide the lids open.

Bought this as a gift for my in-laws since they wanted a large picnic basket. It's a great size and you'd definitely be able to fit in paper goods and plenty of food for a picnic. The lid is advertised as being hard so you can use it like a table top and that's the case. However, it doesn't lock or latch closed at all, which would drive me nuts if I were the one using it. (The picnic basket I have is Longaberger, and I don't think it's made anymore, but the solid lid latches closed which feels more secure to me even though it's not like I dump it upside down!) The handles are sturdy, too. The first one I ordered had a stain on the inner lining, so just check it out when yours arrives to be sure yours is clean. Amazon is always great to work with, though, and I didn't have any trouble exchanging it before I needed to give it!

Before I start, I would recommend that you replace the straps that comes with the basket immediately as they are really just useless and inferior. With the strap out of the way and replaced. I can that this basket is a nice mixture of classic and modern. Classic being that it still resembles tand retains the iconic basket shape. Modern that instead of the traditional two way flip top, it is now replace with a board. The board itself does come in handy when cutting fruits, cheese, or just using it as a table top for your food. For myself, I would have like the basket to be just a bit smaller as I find it to be cuter in general being smaller. There isn't any other negative thing that would deter me from not purchasing one because I already purchased one and I love it! Having cloth lining on the inside was a nice touch adding to to its look. Anyways, I have used it on many dates and they are impressed by it as it is versatile as it is cute.

Purchased this basket a few months back. After a long winter today took it out to use it and the two bands holding the door kept opening every time. It has a button that clicks but opens as soon as we open the door. Very very disappointed with this product. Have been waiting for a good deal on this basket for more than a year and now that I am finally using it, it is not even usable.

This is the perfect size for a meal picnic, not just a wine & cheese snack. You can fit a picnic meal for 4 - 6 people, or for 2-4 plus the paper plates, tableware and thermos. Nice looking. Lid removes (just snaps on with leather straps) for a flat surface if needed. Keep in mind that it is a basket... won't take the weight of a bag of charcoal, but will carry sandwiches, salads, fruit, deserts and a thermos of tea. If you are doing a cookout, then this basket would keep your tableware, napkins, and misc paraphernalia neatly organized and look much better than all those plastic grocery bags.

La canasta tiene un tamaño perfecto, es espaciosa. La tapa te funciona como mesa, puedes poner los vasos sin preocuparte de que se caigan. Lo único que no me gusto son los broches que sostienen la tapa a la canasta, al estarla abriendo y cerrando, estos se abren continuamente y tienes que estar al pendiente de que no se caigan
