Good book for young adults!
Two volleyball players, Jessica and Katelyn, who were once great teammates until Katelyn stole Jessica's boyfriend. Now, if that isn't enough drama, throw in an avalanche that has the two of them stranded together in a cabin for nine days without real food! Lots of drama, twists and turns, that stir the reader's emotions in this hate to love trope. Heart-pounding one moment and heart-warming the next. And I really enjoyed the ending!

Mary Sue gets trapped in ice.
An unbelievably awesome girl gets trapped in a cabin with another unbelievably beautiful girl from the same volleyball team.Don't get me wrong, I love unbelievably amazing characters who are so cool that no human being could possibly compare (Neo, from the Matrix is a fave of mine) but for some reason I just couldn't buy into how so many guys were into Jessica, the main character. It didn't sit well with me that they would all decide, at almost the exact same moment to profess their love for her. I know it's shorthand for showing how awesome she is, but for some reason, it felt awkwardly handled to me.As for Katelyn, the other protagonist, her motivation for stealing Jessica's boyfriend seemed kind of... well... like complete nonsense. Maybe I missed the paragraph where it was explained in more detail as to why she did it, but it just seemed more like something to help the plot rather than as an honest reaction from the character. Both those things aside, it's an interesting adventure tale with a bit of sexy stuff thrown in here and there. If you're looking for a whole book of actual sexy stuff happening, this isn't the book for you. This is more of a sexy tease book rather than what happens after. I won't say if it does or it doesn't happen, but don't get this book if you're expecting a whole book of hot and steamy post tease action. This is a book about the adventure of surviving a difficult situation with someone, a hot someone, who you're not entirely sure if you hate. Which is, admittedly an interesting situation for a reader to live vicariously through the sexy yet insecure main character.I'm writing this review in early 2014 and the book costs a steep $5.99. I would advise waiting for it to go on sale before buying it. There's not a lot of proverbial bang for your buck, but it does have 2 unbelievably hot characters so... if you're into that, forget I said anything.2 stars.

A survival romance story. With very engaging characters.
I really enjoyed every second I read this book. The story is a very emotional one, and it had a lot of compelling moments with it's survival elements, character development, center romance between Katelyn and Jessica. At first the book started off like a version of mean girls then turned into a disaster movie, as the whole avalanche scene was a harrowing one. I would be terrified to be caught in it. Then a romance story begins after between two young college girls who don't get along very well at first. Then it got very interesting reading the growing chemistry between them and the emotional turmoil and stress from the situation they're in. But I really enjoy the ending even though it kinda of prolonged the two girls getting together in the end. Overall a very good book.

Wow Great Volleyball Story.
I really loved the characters. Jessica's character was kind and sweet, but when her boyfriend got caught cheating on her by Katelyn a volleyball team member. She became mean, rude and wanted to kill well only toward Katelyn😂. Though Jessica wanted to beat Katelyn senseless she knew she couldn't win on a fight because Katelyn was taller and more muscular. The avalanche scenes of the story revealed so much about Katelyn. Katelyn had always been attracted to Jessica from the beginning. It just took Jessica 9 days stuck with Katelyn to realize how much she had fallen for her before they were rescued. I really enjoyed the ending of this book and believe other athletic readers will love it as well such as myself. Though I did not play volleyball at the college level.

Enemy to lover’s!
This story was packed with so much emotion right from the start. Yet, in the end it was sweet and heart warming and I adored these two main characters and how they came together. I absolutely loved the storyline, and everything about it. It drew me in from the start. I loved the feel to the book ...Highly recommend! ⭐️

An interesting storyline
I very much enjoyed this book. it was a different story line than I've read before. I also have the audiobook which I enjoyed as well. The narration was good but sometimes I found it a little difficult to distinguish which person was speaking. I do expect that I will listen to this book again in the future. This is my first book by this author but I certainly expect to read more.

Disappointing
I picked this to read because I had enjoyed Carl Hunter's Snowbound, and I thought this might be similar. Unfortunately I was wrong. The whole trapped scenario just seemed silly. An avalanche only partly covers a ski cabin in a ski village and two girls can't escape for ten days. We know it isn't fully covered because they can see light through the chimney. They have electricity and lights for several days. They even watch TV. Avalanche snow is quite solid. They know which way is up. Why on earth did they not just dig a tunnel out the door up to the surface the first day? People dig tunnels out their front doors all the time in heavy snow fall areas. Even if they half filled the cabin with snow by digging, it's better than freezing and starving for ten days. At least they got a bit close and gave each other a sponge bath. So this lost me pretty quickly as unrealistic. If they had been injured or trapped beneath fallen beams then it would have been more understandable they'd have to wait for rescue...but then no sponge bath in front of a fire drinking hot chocolate. For me to enjoy a book, I have to believe it is possible.

As a lesbian myself, I really appreciated this book!
Honestly speaking when I first picked up this book I thought I was going to hate it...I was so wrong, it was so cute. The lesbian rep in this book is really good and realistic, I mean I knew exactly what our main character was going through. I didn’t find the hate to love troupe cheesy.I hate to admit it is not that well written but honestly I didn’t care.I just loved it.“ It was official- I was a lesbian and I’d never been so happy”

Very good YA read
This is the first time a read a book by Bella Donnis and I found it to be a great read. Even though, when reading the synapsis, I thought the story might be a bit OTT (being trapped by an avalanche and what not), I am glad I gave it a go. The story is well written, the story line is not farfetched or overly dramatic, and the characters are very likable and feel real. I really enjoyed the book. So much so, that I went and bought another book by the author right away.

A good read
Easy reading, and enjoyable. The choice of detail seems unusual and I am not necessarily sure fitting, but I guess that's a personal preference. It's not going to be a literary prize winner, but still overall a good read
