ELMHURST Unsweetened Almond Milk, 32 FZ

It’s almost impossible to find a non-dairy milk in most grocery stores that doesn’t include lecithin, oils, guar gum or others fillers or preservatives. Those additives upset my stomach and cause inflamation. Elmhurt makes the only one I can find in store (and sadly only at Whole Foods) that only has two ingredients - water and nuts. The cashew is my absolute favorite - it’s creamy and has a mild flavor so it’s perfect for adding to savory sauces. I add it to pasta dishes all the time and I don’t even miss the dairy. They also make other nut milks (walnut, almost, pistachio) as well as oat milk. It’s a little more spendy than other non-dairy milks, but you pay more to leave out the junk ingredients and it’s worth it to me. Elmhurst, you’re simply the best!

It’s a bit pricey but if you’re willing to spend the few extra dollars it’s definitely worth the cost. Has good consistency and isn’t grainy, ingredients are simply almonds and water no added gums or preservatives, can be shelved until opened, and has higher protein content compared to other brands I’ve come across.

Love this milk for my coffee in the morning. It’s pure without all the additives a lot of nut milks contain.I highly recommend it for all kinds of food. Cereal, chia pudding, etc.Great taste too.

I actually purchased elmhurst almond milk when it first appeared in stores many years ago and i was blown away by how good it was. Thick, creamy, full of almond flavor and at a very good price. It had been some years since it drank it all those years ago and I have to say they definitely reduced the amount of almond they were putting into each serving. It’s not as thick as I remember it being and the flavor just isn’t exactly the same. But it’s still a better almond product than other almond products I’ve tried, especially given the fact it doesn’t rely on thickeners or fillers to enhance mouth feel.
