Only needed one for our Nighthawk M1100 but is kicks ass!
Kicks ass with NightHawk! Went to cellular wireless for TV and internet at the house. Wanted to see if we could get a little more out of the modem so we bought these and another little plug in antenna. Tried multiple locations and configurations with both antennas, different locations in the house, different distances between antenna ect ect. Found that setting the Nighthawk on its side so the internal units are "broadside" to the tower and one BingFu unit about 4' away on the window sill with a command strip to keep it upright works great. Streaming about 100 gig a month. Streaming D+ and still using wifi for ipads and no real issues. This little unit probably gave us a 100% boost in signal. Worth every penny. Just make sure you get the right connector for your unit and then try different places in the house and different layouts for the antenna.

Worth Every Penny!
I was looking to extend the range of my wireless security cameras and decided to give these a shot. After extensive testing, I learned that these antennas don't really extend the range of the stock antennas that are on my cameras, HOWEVER, I discovered a trick that GREATLY extends the range. My front gate is roughly 200 yards from my home (and NVR). Using just the antenna, about 65 yards is the limit, and the signal is weak. The camera is always "behind" in time, and nothing is recorded about half the time. I decided to use an old satellite dish to direct the signal towards my home, and I'm amazed at how well this works. Full signal strength from my front gate! Now I'm curious as to how far I can make this set-up work. Thanks GoogleFU errr... BingFU!

Magnet not strong at all
Works like it should, but like others have said magnet is not very strong, I'm going to drill a hole and bolt on. Worked on a wireless remote kit for a dump trailer

Weak Magnet caused loss of antenna
Seemed to work ok on my cellphone signal extender, but there's a fatal flaw... the magnet in the base is very weak...Like blows off at 60mph weak. It came loose and my son opened the door not knowing it was loose and when he closed the door it was smashed in the door jam...$20 down the drain on the first drive.

Lousy at 2.4 Ghz
Bought these as spares for field test last December, so this is specific to shipments during that period - package had bar code X0028EFDJF. Just used them for a new field test - at 2.4 Ghz they are terrible - collected signal strength data - they are closer to -5 to -7 db gain - certainly not +9 db. Junk, at least at 2.4 Ghz. These high gain antennas are supposed to have radiation patterns where most of the RF energy is directed perpendicular to the antenna - so when vertical, they radiate out parallel to the ground. For 9 db of gain, typically the strong signal is from fifteen degrees below level, to 15 degrees above level. a 0 db antenna radiates in all directions (omni-directional.) So these should be great for terrestrial deployments - lousy for airplanes (or drones). But I am using them terrestrially - probably within 2 to 3 degrees of horizontal. A 6 db increase will double the range. I just tested these against a 2 db gain antenna using the same radios at 2.4 GHz. The cheap 2db antenna has a range almost three times greater than these antennas. We have also tested an L-Com RE05U that is listed as a 5db antenna - it has worked at a range four times the range of these Bingfu units, with rock-solid, reliable communications at three times the range of these units. The RE05U is specifically designed for 2.4 Ghz. Unfortunately not sold at amazon. Two possibilities - the six units I bought in early December were defective, or these antennas were not designed to work at 2.4 Ghz. Note that a lot of modern wi-fi uses both bands (2.4 and 5.8), so it may be they work at 5.8 and people don't realize they do not work at 2.4. But if you are using IEEE802.15.4 (as we are), 5.8 is not an option.

Great wifi, bluetooth antenna
I bought this for my Bluetooth amplifier on my patio. Now if whoever's phone is running, it goes into the house. And comes back out.It never skips a beat

I’m hoping this will extend my Bluetooth to back camera on RV. Otherwise the fit in back of module.

Not that efficient
I didn't find it helped much with the cameras receivers

Replaced my stock antennas on my cameras with these and what an amazing result! Crystal clear picture to the inside of my horse trailer. Only issue is that the magnet is pretty weak it fell down whilst on the hwy and the provided sticky pads are also sub par it also fell over on the hwy. other then that the range is great!

Haven't functionally used it yet but appears to be otherwise as advertised. Tested the magnet and it is definitely not the most spectacular, which is somewhat surprising considering one of the selling points is for vehicles. Wind will be an issue, so I will be replacing it with a neodymium magnet at some point.

Excellent antenna extension for our RV's Halowview BT11 wireless backup camera. Stuck it on the front roof with 3M tape. I doubt the adhesive tape it comes with would hold at highway speeds.

Une chance qu'il en avait deux, la première ne vissait pas sur l'embout et la pointe centrale c'est même effrité. La deuxième c'est bien fixer. Le contour de plastique est très épais et le visage n'était pas facile. Fonctionne bien au moins.

Tried it connected to our trailer backup camera and extended the 10 ft. cable along roof closer to the monitor - didn't work any better. Tried same hooked to monitor and no better. No good, worse! Decided to just stay with the original 5db antennas that came with the camera/monitor as they work as good or better so why have all the dangling extra cable from this remote extender antenna. Unfortunate!
