This glass wear is amazing for the price. Thick sturdy glass wear for the price. The setup easily boils and heats a standard mash of vegetable materials! I mean seriously the quality for the price is awesome. Unfortunately, the packing doesn't expressly say FRAGILE on the boxes so my items arrived with the condenser jacket shattered and the crook arm of the biomass vessel crushed... THAT BEING SAID... I requested replacement or refund and the customer service reps were PROMT AS ALL HECK. I will be ordering from this seller again. However, I will make sure to double-check the notation of handling.

One of the beakers arrived cracked, but that was easily remedied with a visit to a local school supply store. It does the job well, It's a little fiddly to put together at first, but one learns. It does save money in the long run to make oils instead of buying the tiny vials at health food stores.

It works extremely well! No instructions but if you go online and read about setting up a distillation apparatus you will understand how to set this thing up. If you ever took chemistry class In high school this should be easy for you. The 2 extra things needed after purchase is a submersible pump and denatured alcohol for the alcohol lamp! I've already extracted grapefruit and orange essential oil with it! Check out the video!

Cheaply made and outdated. WHY IS THERE AN ASBESTOS NET!!!! this is extremely unsafe and considered “illegal” please remove this item.

I actually have a larger distiller but this one is so cool! I will be using it to refine the essential oils that I get out of my larger still. I'm actually using the separation vessel now and have inspected each part for any imperfections (none). I'm impressed by the quality of the glass. It iv very thick, lab, quality.

The coil condenser provided is not completely sealed closed. This is a scientific apparatus that NEEDS TO BE SEALED!!! Depending on the material inside the apparatus, THIS LEAK COULD BE DEADLY!!!! There is a hole at the top of the condenser coil which leaks into the inner coil, effectively ruining any product produced using this distillation apparatus. The leak in my coil condenser is flowing at a rate of 0.5ml/minute, which is QUITE A BIT.... I apparently missed the return window for the product, so now I seem to be stuck buying a new condenser coil that I *already bought*. *Overall* the apparatus is okay... however, the stand could handle being a tad heavier. If you plan to purchase this item, spend a tad extra for a heavier lab stand.
