Was not that hard to install being careful to open up the older Lenovo laptop. I discovered there were actually two batteries inside but this replaced one of them and that was enough to give several more hours of usage on the laptop vs the old worn out batter. If you are a brute then have your wife install it LOL.

My wife's laptop wouldn't turn on one day, and when I took a look at it I saw that one of the two batteries in the case was damaged - two-thirds of it was puffed up like a forbidden candy bar. I took it out and she was able to boot up, but obviously that meant she didn't have the power capacity she'd had before. It took more searching than I'd like (seriously - there's a ton of stuff in the search results that clearly won't fit this laptop AT ALL and I was using the model number), but I found this one and it was the same form factor, same number of cells, etc. It fit perfectly and has been working ever since, and once again she's happy on her laptop. Worked well for a few months, then wouldn't hold a charge, THEN started swelling badly. Original height 0.3", swelled to 0.7" and nearly broke the laptop case. DO NOT BUY

My thinkpad has two batteries. One was bad so changed both. Amazing working time now

1-star - - Lenovo T460S battery arrived with only around 75% of rated capacity after 1 charging cycle. I will have to get a different battery. Gave 1 star for good packing and timely shipment. Total 2 stars

So far this battery is fine (bought both of them). Will report back with updates as time goes on.

My battery wasn’t holding a charge and decided to try a new one before investing in a new computer. Worked great!!
