Pyrex 7201-PC 4-cup Blue Food Storage Replacement Lid - Made in USA

We have a set of Anchor Hocking bowls with lids. The middle sized lid broke in two places so it was unusable. We had read that the Pyrex lid would fit the Anchor Hocking bowl, so we decided to take a chance and ordered this one. Not only did it fit the bowl, but in my opinion, it fit better than the original Anchor Hocking lid, which is very tight and sometimes difficult to put on (which led to it cracking in the first place). And the Pyrex lid was so much less expensive! I am really pleased with my purchase, and it gets used constantly, with no sign of wear or damage.

Was a little nervous buying these online. But after years of use, the old ones just looked horrible. Fit great and makes my containers look like new again!

I got 8 to replace the original lids my Pyrex containers came with. They fit perfectly. I have them for 2 years and I use it daily . I cook several items for the week and refrigirate in Glass Pyrex. I hand wash them and don't use in the microwave.

I bought these as replacements for my 8 year old Pyrex 4 cup lids that were cracked and I'm happy with them. They seal nicely just like the original lids and I love that I didn't have to buy all new bowls just because the lids bit the dust. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, but I hand wash them to prolong their life. I am slightly disappointed that the plastic feels thinner and cheaper than the original Pyrex lids, so I'd be leery of using them in the microwave for fear they'd melt or warp. Overall, these are a very affordable option and decent quality.

These are the same lids that came with the bowls. I've never put the lids in the microwave, I opt for a paper towel instead. It should help save the lids and no risk any possible "contamination" from microwaving plastic. I don't know what all of the studies say on that day to day but its better safe than sorry in my opinion and the paper towel is too easy and it makes cleanup easier also with no cooked on food on the lid. We use these in the dishwasher and try to get them on the top rack when possible based on the directions but sometimes they end up on the bottom rack. After 6 years on some of our lids they finally started to crack so I think that's a pretty good life, even if we weren't following the directions to the letter all of the time. I've never tried to freeze anything in these bowels so I don't know if the lids would get brittle or have any problems, but they claim to be freezer safe. I've just never had a reason to freeze anything in the bowls. We use other containers, freezer bags, or vacuum bags instead. We got plenty of years of almost daily service out of the original lids and I don't see any reason to expect less from these.

The lids originally purchased with our bowls had a tendency to crack along the edge, allowing air to enter. It defeats the purpose of an air-tight bowl. We like the bowls, so I looked and found these replaces in several sizes on Amazon. They fit every bit as well as the originals and, so far, they have not cracked or warped. We are VERY pleased with them. NOTE: WITH THE ORIGINAL LIDS we found that cleaning them in the dishwasher caused distortion and I suspect the warping was a factor in the cracking of the edge as the lid twisted. WE NOW ONLY WASH LIDS BY HAND AS A PRECAUTION. These new lids remain like new: flat and pliable!

These were a perfectly-sized replacement for my old Pyrex lids that were getting cracked after many years of use. However, I used to be able to microwave those old lids (and I did often, to prevent splattering messes). These new ones do NOT hold up in the microwave, as you can see in the attached photo. Two minutes in the office microwave, and the lid is permanently warped. It still fits the dish, but I won't be using them in the micro anymore!

I hate to buy a whole new set of containers just because my plastic lids have cracked or gotten lost (even though it costs the same). I wanted genuine Pyrex lids because I know they fit tighter and are more durable than the knock-offs. I actually replaced the lids on my Anchor-brand glass containers (which always crack) with these too. They fit perfect, and they haven't cracked yet after 2 years I've had them, almost always washing them in the dishwasher.

Very thoughtful of Pyrex to make replacement lids. If one gets the bowl size and numbers right, one can get a perfect fit for the bowl.

We have so many of these lunch containers but the lids were in rough shape. This fit perfect and revived our old containers. Ours were actually anchor brand and they fit fine
