k6 dual 4ohm nice woofer !! loud and deep bass
ok ok so I made the wifes ride my test vehicle I am really happy with this woofer. big woofer with a reasonable depth. nice solid speaker. had to modify the box as the woofer diameter is big and used a spacer to make sure it has room to stay cool but the extra time is worth it. the sound quality is good I crossed it over at 80hz and it will shake everything. I did prep the trunk and doors with sound deadening. bought it to upgrade a kicker comp slim, a nice little speaker (vented) but this is a beast! I was surprised at the sound! I put it in a 0.6 sealed box and on 335 watts rms this is hits very hard! low and deep. part of a 5 channel audio pipe amp class a/b setup in a chevy cruze I ohmed mine out as well and each was 4 dead on and when I wired em up parallel 2ohms even I have 1.2k on 2 10's of a good brand but I going to add 2 of these to my want list they are a bargain

sounds great
I replaced a factory speaker in my Cadillac that has a system. It was like going from riding a skateboard for transportation to flying in the jet. It's unbelievable the difference it made in my car and I ain't even got no power to it yet all I got is what the factory provided. Very happy

Great sound, incredible price
I've had these installed in a sealed box under the rear seat of a 1500 Ram Quad cab for 3months now and they sound great. They're driven (and were properly broken in) by a Rockville db25 which is only capable of providing 3/4 of what they max at (and I'm only giving them 3/4 of that... so far). My head unit has more set points than most so I can adjust accordingly no matter what I'm listening to and my playlists include nearly every type and genre. I play my music for myself, no one else. That said, with my truck closed up and volume at 18 of 25 these subs can be heard and felt at a distance of 10 to 20 feet when hitting even subsonic frequencies. Yeah, I have a Rockville for that too. If you're setting up right they can do it all. With their construction I'd say they can take a lot more than I've put them through so far as long as the break in is done right, as with any sound equipment. Worth every penny for someone seeking to enjoy their drive to the local grocery or cross country

A True Beast Of a Sub
Didn't expect so much low Shaking bass from a 10" Subwoofer. I built my own home theater subwoofer, had purchased an Rockford P2 Sub and installed in it with a 500 watt subwoofer plate pushing it, it sounded ok , but it kinda lacked the lows I was looking for, so I did a few tube reviews on the Rockville Sub and seen good reviews on them, so I decided to take a chance and purchase one which I thought the price of the sub was unbeatable for $75 for a 2000 watt sub! And you better know that I very please with my decision, I couldn't ask for a better sounding sub! I now know that those higher name brand subs aren't always better than they claim to be, your'e just paying for a name.

Excellent value and quality
I have bought many subs over the years and this one is amazing for the price and quality! I purchased the 10 inch Dual Voice Coil sub and I have it wired for a 2 OHM load. I have never bought a Rockville product before I always went with Rockford Fosgate. But this sub was 1/2 the price so I took a chance and wow, I am extremely impressed. The packaging, shipment, and product itself is solid! It hits the lows very hard and zero distortion can take a beating.

Over a year later still booming in my car
So far after year of continuous playing in my car the speaker hasn't failed on me. I know there are videos that show Rockville speakers failing and I had legitimate concerns when I first bought it but after listening to it for over a year now and no type of issues I could say this is a solid speaker. I would tell amateurs or pros just use the speakers with the recommended wattages and RMS and it should last you. Obviously this is not an high-end speaker but it sounds really great and it does have some boom to it.

VERY COST EFFECTIVE..
When I purchased this speaker I did not know what to expect as In ever heard of Rockville but WOW.... The sound and quality of the speaker was not bad at all. The BASS is great and even at 75% volume, it does not break up or distort. Thanks Rockville. Dave in Colorado

Happy with it, Just wish it came with decal. $88 shipping for a $2 sticker on their website is plain silly.

I already had a good sub that I was happy with but I saw this K6 on sale and couldn't resist. I plotted the k6 in winisd to see how it would perform in my existing enclosure and it matched the old subs lows while having greater response in the upper frequency range were most music has its bass (1.7cft 33hz, 500watt rms). So I broke in the K6 with some frequency sweeps on the bench for a few hours and then swapped out the subs. The winisd predictions were correct , the K6 handles the higher bass frequency's better than the old sub while still able to get low and it's plenty loud for a 10, put alot of 12's to shame for the same price actually. One thing to note, this sub needs about an extra 0.2 inch on the cutout hole than most other subs. Have a dremel or something similar ready to widen the mounting hole on your box.

I have only rated the sound at four stars because I have not put full power though it yet , sounds great to me I mounted it a 1950 Coke cooler and have in the trunk of my 1966 Galaxie and it gives all the bass I need .jimmie
