Gorgeous. Smells like fresh cedar. Plays beautifully as far as I can tell. I’m one of those musicians that can pick up most instruments quickly. I’ve been playing piano my entire life; I taught myself to play by ear. I have high hopes that I can learn this quickly however, I did not anticipate learning to play notes by keying half the hole, haha! It will be a fun challenge! I especially love the sound of the lower notes to the point where I may order the lower flute tuning. I have been on a spiritual journey lately and been studying Native American cultures. This flute definitely sounds identical to the flutes in their traditional music, which makes me very happy. It does not disappoint. The wood is gorgeous. The flute was packed and wrapped with love, you can tell this company is genuine and cares. Thank you so much!

Absolutely love this flute. I have never in my life played this instrument and within a few days I was able to play songs… not perfect mind you lol.. but still amazing and fun instrument, provides great stress relief :)

It’s exactly what I wanted, I love the way it sounds, I love to support a family business like this one, the price was fair for the product I received, and it comes from a smalltown in the Pacific Northwest that my sister lives in, I decorated mine with two feathers to make it look more authentic, and the sound is incredible, already my friends are complementing my playing skills, and I am a beginner, I’m looking to connect to my native American side of my ancestry and find peace and serenity in nature,

Beautifully made and very evident the business owner takes great pride in her craft. The flute itself was so thoughtfully packaged and feels one of a kind. There are great videos (especially for beginners) on how to use your instrument as well. Couldn't recommend more!

This one is perfect! We tried buying a similar, less expensive option several weeks ago which did not meet my husband's expectations at all. But he loves playing this one, and I enjoy hearing him play it. It's very mellow and soothing; I can even comfotably read a book while he plays it in the next room. Beautifully crafted.

This flute arrived a day ahead of schedule. It was packed well and had no dings or scratches. A very good start! Of course, I immediately brought out my smart phone with the instrument tuner. A moderate flow of breath (velocity for midi users) produces a tone that is slightly flat and a firm breath brings it to true. The tone was actually more pure and sweet than I like. I took the bird off and used a dremel to make a shallow furrow along the middle of the bird to create a bit of turbulence and was very satisfied. The finish was standard and adequate. I take my flute out to drum circles and ceremonies so I wanted a bit more. I sanded it down, applied a bit if Mahogany dye and a stupid number of coats of polyurethane. Why five stars when I did so much work on it? Because I like working with wood. It's very zen so I would do it anyways and I do bring my flute to some rough places so I need a bit more protection. All the work I did is a useless gesture if the pipe isn't right and this pipe is right! On this flute, Amazing Grace is, well, amazing. Silk Road is unbelievable... I can get 3 different pentatonic scales and a diatonic scale and I've just started getting acquainted with my new friend. I've had occasion since I bought it to play it in impromptu gatherings and the sound remained true from the base note to the arias. That's the difference between an instrument and a wall decoration. Five stars because this product exceeded my expectations. EDIT 03/2022: Still enjoying this flute immensely. I play it for at least a few minutes every day and it's still my favorite out of the four I own. I live in high desert so I've played this flute in weather from 20 to 110 degrees (fahrenheit) and from 8% to 80% relative humidity and been satisfied every time. I know the science and crafting necessary to achieve that and I'm impressed.

I bought it as a gift to my friend, but when he tried it, 1 or 2 notes can not come out right. Poorly made, no quality control.
