Women's Hawaiian Butterfly Luau Dress in White Bridal

I selected this dress because we are doing a family photo shoot on the beach while on vacation, and everyone voted on a white & khaki color scheme. I wanted to go with a solid white dress- and they are not easy to find! Shipping came faster than expected! When it arrived, I thought there is no way this is the dress in the photo. It looked like a folded up handkerchief wrapped in plastic. However, I was happily surprised once I tried it on. The fabric IS like a handkerchief, but a nice one. It has a very simple, but pretty embroidery. The skirt is "slightly" see through in certain lighting, but not completely translucent. Fine with me for a beachy look. It hangs nicely and flows, (it is not stiff). The back of the bodice is elastic. Its a very simple dress. I normally wear a dress size 2 and the small fits well. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because if I had actually ordered this for the purpose of a "wedding" dress I would be disappointed in the quality. However, for a beachy occasion, a costume, or a themed party- (some sort of event where you probably wont wear it more than once)- it is a great price for a cute dress.

I was surprised it fit perfectly. I usually have horrible luck buying clothing online. I wear 10 to 12 and ordered this item in a large.

I wore this dress on my wedding day, after a few alterations, and it was perfect for our Hawaiian theme wedding. Light-weight, as I needed something cool for mid- August. Just beautiful!

Very see through and not the best quality. I would recommend spending a little more and buying a better quality dress.

Great for a beach wedding. Will have to add a layer of fabric lining the inside, it can be a bit see-through

This dress was a but too big. On the upaide, I washed and dried it and it fit great!!
