These skates might work for beginners who just want to skate around, but I wouldn't recommend them for beginning hockey players even. Low quality skate. Pick a Bauer or CCM instead

Opened the box and they were already broke... ive seen other photos on here of these defect. I can't believe they would just repackage and just send them back out to someone new...

Son loves these skates, he even wears them around the house. They look like my 800 dollar skates and fit perfectly. From what I can tell my scraping my nail on them is that they are already sharpened. Highly recommend

We bought these skates for our 8 year old son to wear for his Hockey team. They broke the second time he ever put them on. As he was tying his skate up, the lace-hole ripped right through the leather. We couldn't believe it had happened. He had only ever worn them once before.

I got these for my brother for his 9th birthday and they broke after 2 uses. The shoelace hole broke through and there's no way to repair it. He's not a hockey player or plays roughly. He just uses them to skate around and they apparently could not handle that.... So just be aware, they're cheap for a reason.

My son has worn them once so far and says they're comfortable. He was skating in below zero temps and didn't complain about his feet being cold after 2 hours. The insides aren't super padded, so extra socks are helpful. I ordered a size or two larger than his shoe size to leave room for wool socks and seems like the size is good for him with some room to grow.

I like it because they look/feel/smell durable.....haha!Although i bought a bigger size, i having really high hopes that these skates will last until my niece (even those skate's indicate boys) grows out of it, and then soon pass it down to my nephew.No complains
