Excellent tea
The tea is excellent, the leaves are full and the flavor of the tea is remarkable. Highly recommend this tea for the flavor and essence and the aroma. I will order it again.

This tea is good
I am a very picky drinker of green/white/oolong/yellow teas. I can testify that this is a good TGY. It is fresh and fragrant, when dry or when brewed. The expiry date is 7/26/17 which likely means it was packed on 7/26/15, i.e. last summer, and the taste and smell confirms it. The color of the dry leaves is bright green, which means it's not overly fermented (there are different kinds of TGY, some brown and fermented, some green and mild), and they expand to full size in water, as they are supposed to. The taste is mild, not strong. You would need about 1 full teaspoon per cup of this particular tea to get full flavor (for some TGYs you would put less). It is packed by tealyra.com (operated by Tealux, Inc.). It is probably a quality brand (I've had one other good tea from them). Note that this a review of this particular tea at this particular time (as tea has a limited shelf life and is usually packed fresh every year and it may or may not be the same flavor or quality).

Aproved 100%
The value is good. I am a hard core tea snob who has run his own tea shop in the past. I want to say that I have had fuller flavored Ti qsuan yins... but this is a decent value. It has a classic flavor. perhaps a little over aired. Like it might have been stored under less than hermetic conditions before being packaged. But overall its a great tea. If you are looking for a top end tea on a gunpowder budget, this is it.

An unusual and unsubtle flavor
A bit powerful, and definitely a taste that not every tea lover will find to their liking, but we definitely like this tea and will be getting more! A deep, slightly fungal funk with a crisp green flavor. Brews quickly at 190F and stands up to multiple steeps well!

My favorite green tea EVER
My favorite green tea EVER. I have tried Tie Guan Yin tea straight from China and tried to find a similar tea in bulk for a good price- after trying a few different from Amazon this is the closest I have found to it! Such a pure, earthy taste and the benefits are amazing. I truly feel sustainable energy, detoxification, and a reduction of anxiety with every cup. And such a good price.

Brews more like a green tea than oolong
This seems to be a nice quality tea, but it does not taste like oolong to me. The photo with the product is accurate in that the teal leaves are green, and they are whole leaves. But it brews up pale (i.e. green) and doesn't have the characteristic malty overtone of a fermented oolong - its more of a grassy green tea taste. I gave it to my wife and she liked it OK. The bottom line is this is more like a green tea than an oolong to me. So if you like green tea, this is probably a good tea. But if you are looking for a malty oolong, this may not be for you.

I MUST WRITE A HEADLINE FOR GOOD TEA
You cannot just give stars. You must write. I'm busy, and stars should be enough. So here's what the stars say, in writing: Great flavor preserved in wonderful, well-designed packaging with amazingly good graphic design, clean and contemporary. It smells wonderfully of tea, once the package is opened. Before that, it smells of the packaging the tea package came in. Since this is a review of the tea, ignore all that last bit. Enjoy!

Tastes like cheap green tea. Save your money
It smells like green tea and tastes like Lipton green tea cheap, tarte, not much flavor. From my research it was supposed to have a flowery note, but it doesn't. Also, to brew a cup it takes a table spoon of leafs, which is a lot for that price. Very disappointing. It was my first time trying oolong but very disappointed. It came in a plastic bag that after opening it 3 times it started to break at the zip lock. Also, on the bag was a coupon code expiring in December 2019. That makes me question how fresh it is. Save your money and get the tea from somewhere else. I am sorry this review is so negative, however, I really wanted to like it and was excited for it, especially after all the positive reviews.
