The Viper Commercial 1-Piece Hardwood Billiard Cue is constructed from quality hardwood. Reliable and dependable these billiard cues are intended for high volume use, ready to use day or night. The smaller 36-inch and 48-inch sizes work great for little hands or where space is tight. To prevent warpage each cue is coated with 9 layers of varnish, ensuring quality and durability. Each billiard cue is finished off with a 13mm Le Pro leather tip that is easy to shape for consistent ball control and an ABS bumper. Cue weights will vary.

JUNK! NOT A VIPER EITHER NOTHING LIKE WHAT IS ADVERTISED, NO LEATHER LAYERED TIP EITHER! ALSO WARPED
If there was a 0 star choice I would have used it.. have 1 little blind spot in my Billiards room so had to grab one, but this shorty is absolutely not the Viper with a layered leather tip they are advertisingi there photos. there is just one of those tips like you'd buy at Wal-Mart for some cheapy junk 20$ cue that I don't think is even leather .. the shaft end is just awful with a dark grey discoloration pretty much up the whole thing and also as if it weren't garbage enough it also came warped. there was a made in Taiwan sticker on the side I took off before anyone came over out of embarrassment. It is slightly warped as well and there is not even a small weight in it and it feels about as light as a toothpick and there is no way to put a weight it without drilling.. Don't Bother buying this, it's just plain junk ..

So Far So Good
One end of our pool table is close enough to a wall of windows that we need a shorty cue for tight rail shots. We originally tried using a 40", but none of the adults could ever get comfortable with it (my elementary-aged daughter loves it, though). So we ordered a 48" in the hopes that it would feel more natural. It arrived today, we played a couple of games to test it out, and it seems pretty great so far. Our experience was different from a number of other reviewers – the tip was attached and in good shape, the shaft is straight and the varnish looks good. All that being said, we're not particularly good at the game and we don't take it very seriously. We spend time around the table as a family, but none of us are pros, so we don't spend a fortune on gear. We weren't expecting $200 quality, so we're happy: this cue is better than any we ever used in a bar or billiards hall, and it allows us to make shots in a tight space. If something changes or it breaks in the near future, I'll update my review.

These are NOT hardwood, unless they are particle board made from hardwood scraps. These are pure garbage. Bought a pair as a gift and they arrived warped - when I casually tried to bend one back into shape the top 12" snapped off and exposed the pressed wood in the core.

DECENT SHORT CUE
Its a short cue ....2 short comings.1 - the rubber tip on the bottom must be unscrewed to remove the plastic tag. No bigge, just more complicated than it should be.2 - there are rings turned into the grip area of the shaft. They are kinda sharp and should have been sanded during production. But, all things considered, Its good enough for something that gets used little.

Warped
Bought three of these. I wasn't expecting a work of art for the price but I was expecting them to be straight. All three wobbled when rolled on the table. Not worth it

Poor quality
I used it to test before the kids got to it. I test everything first to see if it is o.k. My third gentle (extremely gentle) stroke and the tip fell off. This is an extremely cheap tip and not worth anything. Do not purchase.

Basic 1 piece cue, good for kids to use on a garage table.
A good option for a kid who wants to learn the game and has access to a pool table. There's no need for a 2 piece cue for a kid who can't be allowed entry into a pool hall so a 1 piece was perfect for young kids to learn on. The cue is very durable and lives in our garage exposed to humidity and extreme heat it has held up great. The only bad thing about this cue is the tip, I would recommend changing it as soon as possible

Dimensionally accurate. Unfortunately the description does not include the truth. I have never seen a more warped stick in my life. I hoped to be more savvy than this, but even a week later the stick I bought is now half the price, making me wonder did I read these reviews, as I faithfully do every single order? I could pull a branch out of my yard that would be more true a cue than this would ever strive to be.Do not buy this.Maker of this cue; contact me with your attempt to refutiate this embarrassment, and I wont make a youtube video demonstrating exactly how demeaning this cue is to billiards. Why even put a tip on it? Or much less rubber on the butt?

Really cheap feeling
I'm new to playing pool, so keep that in mind as you read this review. I already purchased a 58" Mizerak cue which I love. But, due to the size of my room, there's certain angles where that cue was too large. So I decided to buy a smaller one. This was the smallest I could find anywhere, and 3 feet seemed like a good size. However once I got my cue I was pretty disappointed. First off, the cue feels really cheap and plasticy - like a toy. Second off, it is extremely light. It was advertised to be 14 oz but I'm certain that it's lighter than that. In terms of the size, I think 36" is a bit too short and instead I would recommend getting at least a 40"+ for your short cue.Overall, even though the price is really cheap, this is not a good cue and I would stay away.

Decepcionante
No compres estos tacos de billar. Son una decepción.Parecen mucho de juguete y el material no es de calidad, yo pensé que era un taco profesional....Parece que se rompe con facilidad y con el toque más pequeño se rompen, increíblemente absurdo.....

Perfect for tight spots
It can get you out of a tight spot. Obviously this isnt a cue you will be playing an entire game with but if you have a tight spot around your table it comes in handy. It does take a bit of getting used to. It comes ready to use right out of the box... just cut off the lable and chalk it up.

Absolutely terrible Item. I bought 4 for my bar and all of them broke in less than a month. These are definitely not for commercial use. and now im 5 days too late to return them. Oh yeah and one even broke on the way here which I did get refunded for at least. Definitely dont waste your money on these spend a bit more and get a better product.

The wood has big grooves in it so you can't easily slide the cue in your fingers or hands
These came to us and were not finished or sanded down properly so my daughter got splinters in her hands when using them. The wood has big grooves in it so you can't easily slide the cue in your fingers or hands, making it impossible to use. I can not seem to find a way to contact this seller either so I have to go through the hassle of sending them back to Amazon to get my money back. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. :(
