Can't imagine using another mouse.
If it wasn't for this mouse I probably wouldn't have converted to an ergonomic mouse. I bought three ergonomic mice at the same time and this mouse without the LEDs and any other marketing gimmick was by far the best. It is the perfect width so that your whole hand feels relaxed. Over a year and a half I've used it so much that the outer covering has started to fray from constant friction but do you think I'm going to buy a different mouse? No way! I'm going to buy this in triplicate. I've had no problems iwth the mouse wheel, however perhaps I don't utilize it as much because of pgup/pgdown. Show me a better large ergonomic mouse that can handle daily use for over a year and a half and I might convert. Otherwise, why give up the best thing my wrists have ever experienced when in public? TL:DR Buy this mouse for your wrist and large hands. And buy some extra.

Nice surprise to find a quality ergo mouse for a great price
I've used Evoluent mice for 15 years at work (and trackballs before that), and although I use trackpads on laptops / chromebooks when needed, my work mouse has been a vertical mouse for a long time. I just don't like standard mice, and can't use them comfortably for longer periods. This Autley mouse, at roughly 1/3 the cost of the Evoluent, is a really nice mouse to use all day every workday. The manufacturers did a solid job incorporating the features and form required to provide great functionality without getting bogged down in things like multi-button multi-click macro support and a control app that eats RAM but doesn't do anything. Right out of the box, the Autley mouse just worked as soon as I plugged it into my Windows 10 laptop (2004). I turned on the blue led light because I like it, set the dpi with the conveniently located selector button (tried a few settings), and went to work. Windows 10 can set certain things like # of lines per scroll wheel move, and of course mouse cursor sizes / schemes, but other than that, this mouse is a mouse that clicks nicely. Hand position is close to perfect, buttons clicks are soft but firm enough, not loud, and the scroll wheel is quite tactile. It has a great feel for a rubber / plastic setup, which surprised me. The braided cord was a nice touch also, I like that it slides against the desk without binding. Frankly I don't miss the 3rd button from my Evoluent mouse, which is trapped at work and has been since March. How often do we middle click anyways? Maybe CAD folks would like that, its absence doesn't affect me. One minor gripe - the harder plastic "slider" plates on the bottom of the mouse could be higher quality. The edges aren't beveled much, and although they don't snag on my nylon mousepad, I could see where they might on a fuzzier / more textured pad or rougher surface. To sum up - nice materials, will have to see how long the slightly rubberized plastic shell holds up to palm sweat and daily use, as well as the one-piece button cover (no separate joints for the buttons themselves). Great precision and acceleration at higher dpi settings, good to very good hand position for large-ish hands, good click and great scroll feel, overall a great value.

Fantastic mouse that solved wrist pains.
To start, I wasn't paid to do a review for this mouse, nor am I receiving any compensation or payment for posting this review, so take this as my honest opinion and experience for using this mouse. Being on the computer for 10+ hours a day due to being a Computer Engineering major, my wrist and forearm developed pain that would prevent me from using my corsair ironclaw USB mouse. That pain prompted me to look into vertical mice as an alternative as I have been seeing people use them more for work. The pros: Regarding hand size, I have medium-large hands with a hand-length to palm-thumb-knuckle width size: 19.5cm x 10 cm. Upon unboxing and holding the mouse, I loved the shape of it and how it seemed to be well contoured to the fitment of my palm and fingers. Using the mouse for the span of three days, the pain in my wrist and forearm have disappeared. I couldn't believe that it wasn't a gimmick! The mouse works well across both windows 10 and linux. I have specifically tested with Fedora 35 and OpenSuse Tumbleweed distros and the support is flawless, it's plug and play. Cons: My scroll wheel scratches and readjusts itself when scrolling down (moving my finger towards me) when scrolling slowly, but when scrolling up (moving my finger away from me) the scroll wheel works just fine. I don't know what may be the cause of that but I think it could be something catching onto the axle or slots of the inner portions of the scroll-wheel itself. If this becomes worse, I may disassemble it and figure out whether or not to fix or replace the scroll wheel with some modifications to use something like the logitech's hyper-scroll wheel. I have noticed subtle double-clicks occurring from time to time. I don't know if it's just user-error at this point but it's something that is now catching my attention. If double-clicking ensues, I may disassemble the mouse and solder on replacement Kailh GM 8.0 switches that are listed for cheap on Amazon. There is a little bit of plastic-give, so-to-speak, after a solid 11-12 days using this mouse. I have a bit of a tight-grip and because of that, the plastic creaks a bit when used normally. I know it's $16.00, but it's noticeable. As an extension to the plastic-give, the right click seems to shift-in-place from time to time when I am repositioning my middle-finger across the right mouse paddle. This produces an audible plastic-tapping noise when repeatedly performing the same action. Overall, I'd say this mouse exceeded my expectations. I only wish that there was a more premium variant of this exact design that utilized tighter-tolerances for the plastic pieces, an optical sensor for higher DPI, a smaller USB plastic-header that surrounds the connector portion than the current one on the cable connector, better mouse-switches (like Kailh GM 8.0 switches), and a metal-body construction for longevity. I wouldn't mind paying $60-70 for that alone if it was wired. Because of this, I may switch to the logitech ergonomic vertical mouse later down the line, but for now, I am somewhat content with this mouse.

Device is wonderful, not sure about my hand.....
I am a big guy, 6'6 tall with large hands. I have fought with typical mice all my life and decided to give this one a try. The device is great, and it is large and if you need a mouse that's comfortable for a large hand and its very precise and accurate. Wireless mice are just not accurate enough for the digital editing and things I do so it has to be wired and the mouse is wonderful. That being said, after 25 + years of conventional size and shape mice my hand still don't know what to think of this thing and I am still getting used to it but that's no fault of the mouse. This is definitely for large hands and that part of it is perfect and priced well too.

Not for me
Re: Autley Vertical Mouse I desperately needed a larger mouse, and wanted to give this design a try I used some DPI analysis sites, and the results suggest that the lowest DPI setting was below 800, and I was never able to obtain anything near 3200, not that I'm needing that. So far, I have not gotten used to the design. Perhaps I need a mouse pad with a write rest, as I have struggled at times with obtaining precision, and it feels as though the base of my palm may benefit from being elevated more. I believe I would prefer a larger mouse that has less of an angle to it. I don't mind ergonomic, but I'm not sure this will work, but I'll give it more time. There used to be a model I could pick up at a local Office Depot [or Office Max, don't recall] that was ideal, but I don't believe it is made anymore, and the last one I owned died. Dimensions specified on Amazon for various mice seem to be questionable, or often very inaccurate. ***[UPDATE] While it seems to work well for some, this Autley vertical mouse didn't work for me. I tried this mouse for many weeks, but I could not get used to this vertical format. While I think this was large enough, my hand naturally settled to the back and I could never quite find the ideal way to handle it to take advantage of the size without positioning my hand in an awkward way. I added a wrist wrest, but it didn't help much. I was never quite able to use this with the precision I needed, and on that front it remained worse for me than a more traditional horizontal style mouse, despite that larger mice are hard to find. I switched to a wired Logitech G502 which is better for me, but the Logitech could stand to be about 20% larger for my liking. Trackpad, trackballs may come next...

Long Wire, Good Performance
This mouse has a few main benefits but let me focus on the primary ones. Firstly, there is a nice long 6 foot cord so there are no tightness issues or feeling like you do not have enough cord to use. Secondly it has a DPI button on the top to easily switch between 4 built in DPI settings. Third, the cord itself is a very solid braided cord that I have no worries about lasting a long time. This is great if you need to go from fine movement for instance maybe a spreadsheet, then back to web browsing where you want the mouse to move faster across the screen. It feels excellent in my hand, but I see how it could be big for people with small hands. The back and forward buttons on the left are placed excellently, I barely have to move my fingers to press them. The center wheel button is a bit difficult to press but I can get used to that. The blue light on the side is really snazzy and looks great as well and can be turned on and off as needed. This however is NOT a gaming mouse as the DPI and updates are too slow for gaming, but it is perfect for nearly everything else. If you are looking for a ergonomic mouse which works great and has an excellent warranty, I would certainly give this mouse a try.

Worked right away, very comfortable fit!
I'm very happy with my purchase. The mouse worked as soon as I plugged it in, and it is sooo comfortable in my hand. Mouse sensitivity is great and very easy to adjust the DPI - easy to notice the different DPI levels. Also nice to be able to switch the blue light in the side on and off. All of the buttons work as expected and it has a generous cord length. Great for my desktop at work.

Perfectly shaped ergo mouse, it even comes in wireless if you search it
Too bad this mouse isn't available anymore, because it's perfectly shaped in my view. Thankfully, there is an identically shaped wireless mouse from Autley -- go look it up!
