se utiliza en los ductos de ventilacion, para sostener una tapa cortafuego. si llegara a haber un incendio y se propaga por los ductos, al llegar a cierta temperatura, estos se derriten y se cierran las tapas de los ductos, no permitiendo que el fuego avance!
