Sometimes you just drop the extra money to get something nice, and it actually turns out nice.

I can't believe these fit. They're perfect. And they make my butt look good. Head turning shorts, that's for sure. Tested on Santa Monica Beach a few weeks ago, everyone was glancing at me as if I had well fitting bright yellow shorts on :D Very nice quality.
