A little big!?
I bought one in chrome from another manufacturer which fitted perfectly. But in my infinite wisdom decided I wanted a black one instead. Turned into a bit of a 'mare! It looks right but didn't fit as the other had. It seems to be a touch too big or long,or something. Attached wires,no problem, screw holes lined up. On assembly the bit at the front( heard em called a boat,so let's call it the bow) the bow seemed to catch the edge of the groove it should sit in,so I carved a piece out with a Stanley. Still wouldn't work. Realised the jack plug was pushing against the back of the groove/recess so had to gouge a piece out of the back edge of the recess. Its still not quite right,if I tighten the 2 screws fully it pushes the jack out or earths/ no sound, half a turn back and it works. Going to buy a dremmel type tool to make the aperture a little bigger. What should have been simple has turned into a pain in the proverbial. It looks the job,I'm sure I can get it to fit and work but in my opinion it should just fit straight in,the soldering should be the difficult part with this job,but with a combination of this product and my guitar this has not been the case unfortunately
