ease of use and decent durability
I have used it for years and no doubt it is a good product. Duragloss stuck to their past for too long and got left behind. I like this product for its ease of use, cleaning power and durability. Graphene products are great and far more durable, but they lack cleaning power and they mess up the microfibers in one use. I do not use clay and polish because I do not have the time for it and that is where this product shines - it removes dirt from your paint surface, which is very important for any product to stick to the paint. Use it with the combination of DG 601.

All in on UltraGloss!
This product combo of UltraGloss 105 and 601 is amazing. I have been detailing cars for 15 years, about 5 as a side business, so I have used a ton of products. My previous favorite was Liquid Glass but they went out of business. Reviews seem strong on this product line so I tried it out. I stripped the previous sealant with Dawn and a clay bar. That combo works well to prep the surface. Then I applied the 601 which goes on real easy. Not sure what is in there..but seems to have some solvent properties as well as sealant properties. After that just wipe on the 105, let it haze and then wipe off. So easy. Man it looks good. We will see how longevity goes but I can tell this is good stuff. I also got the car wash and aquawax from their line. I did my car which I keep pristine so it looks great but I also did my wife's van which does not get as much love. Turned out great. Took 1.5 hours from wash to done.

Quality Shine, warrants purchasing an electric buffer.
I do not normally review items on amazon but i figured my experience might help other "novice" car car customers. I should start by saying purchasing my new car spurred my interest in researching the best car care & detailing products. I found a site/source that highly recommended the Duragloss 105 wax. Nearly all of my previous wax experience was the NAPA types.... Turtle wax, Meguiars, etc. I'm no auto detailing expert so i do not know how to judge the products themselves. Meaning, it's hard for me to discern the difference between Meguiars and Duragloss. I will have to trust the experts on the quality. What i can detail is my experience putting the Duragloss on my car. I will say that i started out by putting on an excessive amount of wax. The Mequiars i last used needed much more product to cover the same surface area. Thus, with too much wax on the car it was exceedingly difficult to buff off (by hand). Once I discovered this everything got much easier. It is still way more difficult to "buff" than the Maguiars product. Maybe this is the mark of a superior product?? Anyways, when i put it on too thick i spent at least 2-4x longer buffing an area. When i got it down to a good level of wax it still took 2x longer to buff off. If I had know this i probably would have opted to buy a cheap electric buffer. Like most home users, i only wax two cars either once or twice a year. I don't need an industrial buffer, a decent home unit will be on my list to purchase. This Duragloss also took longer to set up (time between application and when it is ready to be buffed) so between set-up and buffing the whole process took considerably longer than i was used to. I should also note that this product did not discolor the black plastic pieces of the car like some other waxes do. In short, don't over apply the product, allow for extra time to let the product set up, and be prepared to wear out your shoulder buffing it off. Otherwise I love the shine it put on my new car. The wax is insanely smooth. I'm very happy with the end result.

DuraGloss 105 is the Real Deal!!
Just an update for Sept. 2020 Been using Duragloss 105 for two years now and I am not disappointed. It's tough (stands up to road salt and tree sap) durable (I'm getting 10 months of water beading - I suspect it could last much longer) and it makes my paint so shiny that even my dear ol' mom noticed! - and she never notices "car stuff." And I've gotten compliments from strangers in parking lots so yeah, lots of shine. I will say again, do NOT get this on black plastic!!! It stains like a S.O.B - this is the only reason I don't give Duragloss 105 5 stars. --- Put DuraGloss 105 on my 2014 FJ Cruiser in August 2018 and it's still going strong in June 2019. This is after summer days in August and a full snowy winter with tons of road salt and 18+ car washes. I have absolutely no doubt that 105 would easily last a full year. PROS: ~Easy to apply. I did a quick wash, clay bar on my FJ and then applied the 105. I worked quickly and the entire process (washing, clay bar and 105 application) took just over 90 minutes. ~Long lasting. As I mentioned above, 105 made it through 10 months of weather and is still beading up water like I applied it yesterday. I should also mention my FJ is not garaged, so it sits outside 24/7. The paint looks great. Still nice and shiny. Cons: ~ Will stain plastic trim. Be careful not to get any on the black plastic trim of your vehicle.....105 will stain it! Overall I think 105 is great!....will be applying it again in August 2019.

Defective Product
After many years of using their automotive products, I had a bad experience with this 105 polish. I did the usual wash and clay bar, and went to apply this product and it wouldn't go on smoothly. I looked at the microfiber applicator, and it was filled with yellow and clear plastic pellets. Both bottles were like this, and unusable. Looks like a manufacturing defect. I had to rush out and buy an inferior product to finish. I am so disappointed and will be finding another long lasting product to use. Sadly it seems that many companies are having quality issues these days.
