Despite some of the other reviews, they seem very sturdy to me. Beautfully packed in very sturdy slide-out cardboard box which will be used for something else when done ! I haven't come across splinters or any buds falling off - though I have known some well-known makes to do that ! I have to wonder what they're being used for to make them break - they are delicate as are all cotton buds !! I use them for artwork and quite sturdy. I would definitely buy these again, but they will last a long time. If there are teething problems with some eco-friendly products, perhaps patience is called for. Some people are trying different things - and the big companies could have been investigating other ways of making products that won't kill off the planet but didn't bother until they saw that customers buying eco-friendly stuff - then they wanted in on the act.

These plastic free ear buds are great! They dont bend like plastic ones do. They are comfortable to use. I've given a box each to my family and they all love them too! The best thing is they are sustainable and help to care for our planet. I will definitely be buying these again x:)

We used to use the Johnson & Johnson cotton buds because they had a stiff plastic rod unlike own-brand versions from supermarkets/chemists which would bend too easily. These are a perfect, more sustainable alternative, they offer the same sturdiness and end up cheaper. Would highly recommend

Always a good buy

It is so so nice to not use plastic for cotton buds. I wasn't sure if this would be as sturdy as the traditional plastic buds, however we were pleased to find that this is a lot sturdier than plastic buds! It's so sturdy that it is really difficult to snap in half (some people have this habit after they finish using a cotton bud). Excellent quality product that is also really well packaged. Would buy again.
