This simple, ingenious device has saved me time and trouble over and over. This ingenious wiring pair worked perfectly for me and it probably saved me hundreds of dollars to have an irrigation company fix a broken zone. I used my wiresprout to bypass a station wire that had failed. Following the instructions included with the package, I installed one wire set into my Rachio controller to manage station 5 (brown) & 6 (yellow dead), and then installed the second wire set at station 5 and 6 so that the brown wire provided power, bypassing yellow. Anyway, I'm very pleased. The wiresprout pair are compact and easily placed inside the Rachio controller and the valve boxes. You will need to strip the ends of the wiresprout and provide your own silicone wire nuts to protect connections at the valve. The physical installation takes 10-15 mins.

The inventor of this little device is a genius! Super easy to use, quick to install, and best of all: saves you from having to install a new wire, which often involves trenching or burying a new wire over some significant distance. I was able to fix a zone that was over 200’ from the clock (controller) without digging anything. Didn’t need to find the severed wire, just “sprouted” off another zone using the existing intact wire. I’d give 6 stars if that was an option!

This product saved me alot of time and money. I had a zone in my backyard that had a 7 wire sprinkler cable running to it with all wires used (6 zones, 1 common) the wire for it was only receiving 19 volts, which was not enough to trigger the solenoid. Somewhere from the controller to the box, throughout the lawn the wire has become nicked or corroded over time and now losing voltage causing the zone to work. Estimate to run new wire was $500 at least. this product worked great. I was able to go to another box where I had two values, and connect both of those zones using the WireSprout to a single wire. I then used the other wire for the zone in the backyard which was still getting 25 volts to the backyard box. this way i was able to run the 3 zones on two wires, and did not have to run any additional wires and did not have to tear up my lawn and bury a new wire. This took 20 min at max to install and complete. I do recommend getting waterproof connectors to protect as well. All in all, it worked and all zones working as expected. Really happen thus far, and hope it continues to work going forward.

The worked exactly as advertised. The installation took about 15 minutes. I had previously installed a new sprinkler valve in an existing box that already had other operating valves. However, there were no spare wires but I did have spare channels in the timer box. I used the WireSprout to piggyback on one of the existing wires that was already in the box.

These guys saved me a few hundred dollars in that I didn't need to call a pro to replace wiring on my irrigation system. Very easy to use, I highly recommend.

I wish I found this product sooner, it saved me a lot of time from digging trenches in my backyard. Easy to install. I will definitely be purchasing again.

This product works and it is about half the price of the only other solution I found (Doubler). I had a non-working station 4 that proved to be a defect in the field wire for that station. The valve for that station worked manually, and the other diagnostic tests indicated a short in the field wire for that station. Wiresprout comes with two units, and each unit has 3 wires (one blue, and two green) that "sprout" from a roughly 1 inch by 1/4 inch brain. Wiresprout #1 is positioned in the valve box and #2 at the controller. A detailed explanation of the wiring at both sites is to be found in the attached jpg file. The text to the right of the wiring schematic is mine. The schematic and text with it come from Wiresprout. I found the website to be confusing and badly done and the only YouTube video to be also suboptimal. I hope my text clarifies how simple the installation of Wiresprout is. My install took less than ten minutes. I rated this 4 stars because of the company's deficient instructions and website.
