I was a gymnast as a kid and had thick cotton wristbands to use with my grips. These are 1000x better than those could ever be. Had these existed as an option 15 years ago, I'd have been a lot better at uneven bars! They're lightweight, provide enough padding, keep the grips themselves from sliding around on your wrist, aren't too hot, and they clean pretty easily with warm water and gentle soap. Just make sure they're fully air dried before you put them away or they can start to smell. They wick sweat away from the skin well too. All around, I'd definitely buy these again and I recommend them to anyone looking for a little more padding and support under their grips.

These are great to use to prevent your wrist supports and hand protection from cutting into your wrists.

My gymnast doesn’t love them but I’m sure it’s more of an aesthetic thing than anything. These are as described and are thick and durable, definitely should prevent rips from grips. I do wish they came in more colors.

My daughter won't use these. Too big and too uncomfortable. She wears a small in the grips. Got her an XS in these and they're way too big. Really wishing I could return them right now... at this price :(

My daughter has a pair of these size XS from gibsonathletic.com. We tried the Small 's through this seller on amazon but they are too big. She is 11 and has a smaller than average wrist structure. She's had her XS for > over a year and wants a back-up pair to go with her back-up grips. I'm contemplating going back to gibsonathletic.com, but their shipping cost is almost as much as the grips.
