My birds like and are exremely healthy
I've tried every commercial birdseed out there at one time or another. Unless you have a truly top notch exotic bird shop nearby who offers a fresh mix of their own, this product is a great choice. I like the ingredients and the birds like to eat it. Other products don't seem to appeal to my birds as much. They will eat, but they pick over it and leave a lot. The Higgins Safflower Gold is the one they like the most. It smells good to me. I have lovebirds and conures, and a cockatiel. My conure knows when this package arrives because she can hear it when we carry it in the house. She gets happy. That's important. She is an extremely healthy bird.

I like this seed because it doesn't contain sun flower seeds which are fattening.

Good Quality Food
My Sun Conure loves this food and it seems to be a good mix of the nutrition he needs. Every time I give him a fresh bowl of this food he goes right for the bowl and god forbid when I have to take it out to clean he goes ballistic. The only downside is that the bag is not full but overall the quality is good.

Old bird won’t eat anything else
Our cockatiel has been eating this for at least a decade. He won’t eat anything else. He’s 24, so it must be working for him. I’m starting to think he might outlive me.
