63308 8oz Ball Pein Hammer, Forged Steel Head, 11" Shock Absorbing Fiberglass Handle with Textured Rubber Grip

I needed a hammer for my mechanics tool box but I didn't want to lug around a heavy hammer so I compromised on this small ball pein hammer and I'm very happy with it. The small size is handy for tight spaces but can't deliver a lot of impact force for very stubborn objects, but I can partially compensate by swinging the lightweight hammer faster. It punches well above its weight class and still allows me to (barely) lift my large steel toolbox. The build quality is very good and I expect this to be a durable tool that I won't need to replace.

I'm so impressed with the quality of this little hammer that I just had to write a short review, but first let me prefix why. I wanted a good American Made wood handed ball pein hammer, so I ordered one from one of the best name brands on the market. They sent me the hammer and let me tell you it was a let-down, such low quality control, the hammer head where they drive in the spike or nail to hold the head on damaged and cracked the wood making it an easy to see defective product. Therefore, I ordered this Ball Pein hammer, and it is Top Quality, no defects. There was a time American Made meant something, not anymore. Also, this Ball Pein Hammer was 80% less in price and 100% more in quality control. The Titan Ball Pein Hammer has an excellent non-slip rubber handle, has anti-vibration holes in the grip to reduce hand fatigue, well-balanced, perfect size for social work. Highly recommended!
